Larry's POV

"Okay, guys tonight is another night of working. So please get ready, we reopen in ten minutes." I said into the microphone. I watched as people and animals started getting ready.

"Larry," Katalina said skipping up behind me.

"Hey Katalina, you all ready for tonight?" I asked.

"Yes, but I was going to ask about the girl you met the other night. Are you dating her now?"

"You're always wondering about my life."

"Well, you have more hours than we do," she said.

"True. But no were not going to be dating. She found me more of a friend."

"I am sorry."

"Where's Ahkmenrah? You're always with him." I said to her.

"He is still getting ready. And I want to ask you about her. So I left him," She said. I nodded understanding. Then Dr. McPhee walked in and I gave Katakina a look that I hope she understood. Not that it matters we were already having a pretty twenty-first-century conversation.

"Good evening Larry, Katalina. How were your days?"

"Very nice thanks for asking," Katalina said. "I am going to go find Ahkmenrah now."

"Bye Katalina." Dr. Mcphee said. "What is her real name? The actress I mean. And how did you find her?"

"Her name is Kristina. And she was born in Greece. Moved here a year and a half ago. She saw the paper and auditioned." I said lying.

"Good. Good. Good." He left me and I went to find Katalina I found her talking to Ahkmenrah in another language. I've given up on trying to get them to stop.

"Katalina, according to Dr. McPhee, your name is Kristina, and you've lived in New York for a year and a half."

"Okay. Why?"

"Because he asked what your actor's name was."

Ahkmenrah's POV

Larry then walled away.

"So Kristina," I said to her smirking lightly. "Are you ready?" I asked her. She nodded. After I said that we went to a spot in the museum and waited for a group to come up to learn about us.

"Mom! Mom! These are the actors portraying Ahkmenrah and Katalina." A boy a few years older than Nicky said excited coming to us. The mother wasn't paying any attention to him at all. "I know you guys are the actors but do you know Egyptian and Greek?"

"Φυοικα. Δεν θα προσλάβει ερσοιτέχνες.(Of course. They would not hire amateurs.)" Katalina said and he looked at her like she was the coolest.

"What did you say?!" He asked.

"It's a secret." She said smirking. And he nodded.

"Is the Tablet of Ahkmenrah real?" He asked looking at me.

"Yes, it's very real."

"Ahkmenrah, θα είυαι πίσω δεξιά.(Ahkmenrah, I will be right back." Katalina said and walled away. I watched as she went to Larry and they talked.

Katalina's POV

"I will help you," I said walking up to Larry. I think I scared him...

"Katalina, you scared me. What exactly are you helping me with?" He asked.

"I see you have been trying to talk to the women here. I am going to help you."

"No, no, no I don't need your help. But thanks for the offer." He said I frowned at him.

"'Ανδρες.(Men.)" I said rolling my eyes. "You do not trust my judgment?"

"Well, you're about 4,000 years old, so not necessarily."

"Just because I am older than you doesn't mean I don't know what a woman wants. And how she wants to be talked to," I said crossing my arms.

"I guess. What do you have for me?"

"Find a girl that interests you, but don't stare at her. It'll freak her out." He nodded and started looking around the room.

"Okay now what?"

"Make it casual, not too casual, but just enough so she sees you as more carefree than a bossy security guard."

"I'm I bossy?"

"That's not what I said. But from what I know, being approached by a security guard is not always a good thing."

"Okay and after."

"Talk about yourself but let her comment and add in whenever she feels necessary. Practice with me."

"Okay. Hey, I'm Larry Daley. The security guard he..."

"No, she will know you're the security guard because of your jacket. Say something like. 'Hi, I'm Larry, and I was wondering if you wanted any help finding your next attraction'."

"Wow, you're right that does sound like something a girl would want to hear."

"See, and if you're mistaken and she's not interested, has a boyfriend, is married, you're in the clear because all you're doing is asking if she needs help."

"You make an excellent point. I'm going to go do it."

"You've got this Larry. If the first girl doesn't work just go to the next." He nodded and pulled me into a hug which surprised me. "I'm going back by Ahkmenrah if you need anything," I said going back to Ahk.

"What was that about?" He asked me.

"Well, Larry has been trying to get a date. So I was helping him."

"Awe aren't you sweet." He said hugging me and kissing the side of my head. "It's been very slow tonight for our station." He said sighing.

"Yes, and I feel like we don't have any time to one another," I said and he nodded in agreement.

We stayed with each other only being asked a few questions here and there and then Larry walked up with a girl.

"...and these are our actors playing Ahkmenrah and Katalina." I smiled at Larry.

"Katalina was the Greek Runaway correct?" She asked.

"Yes, I ran from the war that was happening in Greece to Egypt and Ahkmenrah let me stay with them."

"Very cool. She was very brave. Do you know how old she was when she did this?"

"I think 24."

"Cool. And you're Ahkmenrah. The one who let her stay."

"Yes."

"He had the gold tablet. It's a very beautiful artifact. Do you know how old Ahkmenrah was when he received the tablet?"

"I'm pretty sure he was 26."

"Cool."

"Bye guys. See you later." Larry said walking away.

Finally, it was time for the museum to close. As soon as the last person left I went to find Larry again.

"Did it work?"

"Katalina. Stop scaring me like that." He said jokingly. But yes it did work."

"And you didn't trust me."

"I didn't trust you even a little bit." He said and I rolled my eyes walking away. "Hey, Katalina," he said and I turned to face him. "Thank you."

"Of course Larry."
