Harry's P.O.V

After that episode, Tahira didn't leave the room again. At least, not for two days. She left me to face Omar alone, but when he saw me after that, he didn't behave as if he didn't find me kissing his daughter. Even if it was on the forehead. I felt so relieved by that, I couldn't even describe it.

"Harry." Tahira called me suddenly and I looked at her in question "My back is hurting a lot." She said wincing and I frowned

"Do you need a massage?" I asked and she gave me a hopeful look. I smiled and shifted closer to her on the bed, doing just that. "Haven't you been having back aches the whole day?" I asked suddenly and she nodded

"It just started getting painful. In the morning it wasn't hurting this much." Tahira replied and I frowned even more

"You don't think..." I trailed off when she shook her head "We're still a week away from the due date. I don't think it's time as yet." She said and I nodded slowly, reverting my attention to my hands working on her lower back and she let out a relieved sigh.

"Thanks." She whispered and I placed a kiss on the back of her head "Just doing my job." I said and she chuckled

"Job, huh?" She asked looking back at me and I nodded with a small smile. We decided to take a small nap. We, because I didn't want to leave Tahira alone in case she woke up and needed me or my help. She took a small bath before we did though, frowning as she walked back into the room but shook her head when she saw me.

Someone was shaking my shoulder hard, as if they desperately needed me awake. But in my drowsiness, I just groaned and turned away from the person

"Harry! Wake up!" Tahira shouted in my ear and I jerked awake as soon as my brain registered her voice. I blinked at her, trying to get rid of the sleep in my eyes

"What's wrong?" I asked, my voice hoarse from sleep and that's when I got a good look at her.

She was crying. Silent tears fell down her cheeks rapidly and I felt my sleep abandon me in a flash.

"What's wrong!?" I asked again but this time with urgency in my voice, cupping her face in my hand as she sniffled

"When I was having a bath," She started and I frowned. Looking at the clock, I noticed that we had only been asleep for half an hour. "I felt something strange going down my legs when I was washing them..." She said, sniffling a little more and I frowned thinking where she was going with this

"What are you trying to say, love?" I asked and she closed her eyes tightly, a few more tears escaping her eyes

"Harry... I think my water broke." She whispered and I gaped at her "Are you sure?" I asked and she nodded

My eyes widened "C'mon! Get dressed!" I said and quickly scrambled off the bed, grabbing the shirt I had discarded before going to sleep and quickly put it on. I walked towards her side of the bed and wiped her tears away

"It's going to be alright in the end. You promised, remember? Now, stop crying. I thought I'm the one who's supposed to be freaking out over this." I said and she chuckled slightly, nodding but winced

"It hurts, Harry." She whispered as another tear fell down her cheek and I sighed, placing a kiss to her forehead "It'll be fine. You get dressed. I'll tell Omar and Sara to get ready, okay? Then I'll come and get you." I said and she nodded again.

"Omar! Sara! Where are you!?" I shouted as I ran down the stairs and then heard Sara call "Harry? What's wrong?" She asked as she came into my line of vision

"Tahira. Her water broke. We need to get her to the hospital." I said and Sara's eyes widened and she quickly nodded

"Omar! Get the car ready!" Sara shouted as she ran into the room she and Omar were staying in and knowing she'll handle everything, I went back to my room.

Tahira was still sitting on the bed, but she was dressed and ready to go. Her eyes were squeezed shut tightly, one of her hands was clutching the blanket in a firm grip while the other rested on her stomach. Without a word, I picked her up in my arms and she instinctively wrapped her arms around my neck.

I walked down the stairs as carefully as I could have with Tahira in my arms. Outside, Omar was already sitting in the drivers seat, Sara sitting in the back. The door was open for me to place Tahira inside and I got in after her.

Tahira immediately leaned against Sara when she got in, wrapping her arms around Sara's waist while she tried to comfort Tahira.

"The bag?" I asked suddenly and Omar pointed towards the passenger seat before starting the car and driving out of the gates.

Tahira was immediately rushed into a room when we got to the hospital. A nurse had said that only the father was allowed into the room and I quickly went inside without hesitation.

She was laying there on the bed with an IV attached to her left hand and looked up when I walked in with a smile.

"How are you feeling?" I asked, sitting down next to her on the chair "The same. The contractions just hurt." She said and one of the nurses handed me a box of ice chips to feed Tahira.

She gave me a look when she saw the box in my hands but I just shook my head, silently telling her that she had no choice in this matter.

"Have you told your mom about this?" Tahira asked me and I shook my head "I'll just do that." I said and pulled my phone out of my pocket. Sending mum and the boys the same message, I got freaked out and excited responses quickly. All of them saying they'll be here as soon as they can.

One of the nurses had checked how much Tahira had dilated, and after saying it'll take time until Tahira was 10 centimetres, she left.

I started feeding Tahira the ice chips much to her annoyance but she ate it without a fuss. Not fifteen minutes later, the door to the room burst open and we turned towards it in surprise

"Did I miss it!? Is she already born!?" Louis asked as he stood panting at the doorway. Tahira and I exchanged looks

"We've still got time, Louis. She isn't born yet." I said and Louis gave out a breath of relief.

Before he could say anything, Tahira suddenly took hold of my hand, crushing it in hers. When I looked at her in surprise, her face was scrunched up tightly and I realised she was having another contraction.

"Breathe. It'll go away soon, love. Just breathe." I said and she nodded slowly and took a deep breath through her mouth and winced. Her face relaxed soon and she blinked at me

"Does it hurt?" She asked and looked down at our hands when I gave her a confused look. I shook my head

"No it doesn't. Don't worry about me okay? Break my bones if it helps." I said and she chuckled

"I don't think it's possible for me to do that." She said and I smiled, placing a kiss to her forehead

"Just saying."
