Adanessa POV
"He's not breathing!" I shout as we enter Rivendell, my voice cracking. "Someone help him! Please!"
I try to hold back tears as I hold a lifeless Legolas in my arms. Two Ellons come up to me and take Legolas.
"Please. You have to save him." I tell them, a tear streaming down my cheek.
"We will do our best." One of them says as they carry Legolas off.
Alassëa runs up to me and hugs me in a tight embrace.
"He-- He stopped breathing." I tell her through my sobs.
"He will be all right, Adanessa. Everything will be all right." Alassëa comforts me.
"He has to be all right. If not--" I start to say.
"No, do not think like that."
"It is all my fault! I should have gone in and saved him before." I say to her.
"It is not your fault, Adanessa. Come on, let's go see if we can find out anything."
Gandalf POV
After leaving Adanessa so she could help Legolas, I went to look for the Red Wizard. Only to find that Elrond and Thranduil have already gotten to him and killed him.
"Did you find Legolas?" Thranduil asks me.
"Yes, but when I found him he was unconscious. Adanessa is taking him to Rivendell as we speak." I tell him.
"So he is alive then?" He questions and I nod my head. "Thank goodness." He let's out a sigh of relief.
"He is dead?" I ask, pointing to the Wizard.
Elrond replies, "Yes, he is indeed dead. We do not have to worry about him anymore."
