2 weeks later...

Location: Toronto Canada

To say the least, I'm more than thankful to be back after my said "impromptu" trip to Italy. After the events of the wedding, all the criminals including Romano have been taking back to a maximum security prison without questioning. Since I was apart of the event, I was questioned and asked to help the police deal with the matters for an extra  two weeks in Italy before they could send me back home. After the fiasco that went down in Italy, Officer Costa, who shot Romano, stuck with me and came to escort me back to Canada. I got to call Coach at the station and let him know that I was fine and coming back home, so he would be coming to the airport today to pick me up. To say he was happy was an understatement. In the few months of being coached by Brian, I never knew him to be an emotional guy so it was a bit strange to hear him burst out crying on the other end of the phone

~Flashback~

"Hello, this Coach Brian Orser speaking" his familiar voice says. I almost burst out crying in Officer Costa's office when I hear Coach's voice. Although I've only been away for a week, it feels like it's been a lifetime

"Coach Brian? It's me Charlotte..."

"Charlotte?! For real?! Where in the world are you?" he asks, his voice dripping with concern

"Italy. Actually, it's a long story...umm I'm gonna be back tomorrow. An officer is escorting me back home so I was wondering if you could pick me up at the airport? Sorry for the late notice, if you're too busy it's ok I can jus-"

"Charlie, don't worry about it! Picking you up from the airport is the least I can do, I just can't believe that you're-"

And then I heard muffled sobs on the other end of the phone and my heart just split into a few more pieces. Coach has never cried at competitions when the boys and I broke world records or shed a tear when I watched sad movies with him on the plane. I just always thought Coach had no other emotions than frustrated and happy

"Coach..are you alright?" I question

"Yeah..don't worry about me. I'm just happy that you're safe. You're not hurt are you?" he asks

"I'm fine Coach. I just really want to go home. How is everyone?"

"The rink is so quiet without you. Javi's not as hyper as he used to be and Yuzu's been in quite a funk recently. We all miss you but Yuzu misses you the most. I've never seen him so sad before"

I can already feel my heart race at the sound of his name

Yuzu

"I'm coming home"

~End~

"Are you glad to be home Charlotte?" Officer Costa asks my while walking with me through the airport

"More than glad. Again, thanks for all your help" I tell him shooting a smile

"Eh it's my job", he says shrugging his shoulders ,"Your friend Carolina is the one to thank here"

The two of us walk throughout the airport towards the front, where I'd be meeting Coach. In a lot of ways Officer Costa reminds me of Coach. His fatherly attitude and caring persona make you feel as if you knew him your whole life, like he was actually your dad. As we get closer to the exit of the airport, I head to one of the pay phones to call Coach. Right before I can deposit the coins, I hear my name being called coming from the voice I missed so much

"Charlie-chan!"

Running towards me is the boy I missed the most. His black hair tossed around his face and his left hand flailing Pooh-san around due to his speed. "Charlie-chan!" he repeats picking up his speed. "Yuzu-kun!?" I ask in disbelief, happy tears sliding down my cheek. I drop the pay phone from my hands and run at him at full speed eventually meeting him halfway

I jump into his arms and he picks me up spinning us around. "Charlie-chan I missed you so much!" Yuzu says burying his face in the crook of my neck. "I missed you too Yuzu-kun. I didn't think I'd see you ever again" I cry, the tear sliding down my cheek and dripping onto his shirt. I could live like this forever, just buried in Yuzu's arms and held in his embrace. I breath in his familiar scent and it calms me down. It feels like I'm finally home. I can feel Yuzu's chest rising and falling rapidly as the sound of sobs escape his mouth. "I'm so happy you're ok Charlie-chan" he sobs

"THE YUZULOTTE SHIP IS BACK IN ACTION!" Javi shouts hugging me from behind and joining in

"I missed you Charlie! I heard that psycho is finally put behind bars for good!" he says

From a distance I can hear Officer Costa and Coach talking. Coach telling him how grateful he is that I came home fine and thanking the officer for taking care of me. The four of us get ready to leave and I say my final good byes to Officer Costa before entering the car and going home. Yuzu and I are sat in the back while Coach and Javi took drivers seat and shotgun

"Charlie-chan, I promise I'll always protect you. I'm sorry I couldn't before" he says referring to when Romano kidnapped me

"Yuzu-kun, you don't have to stress because it's not your fault. I love you no matter what" I tell him kissing him for the first time in what feels like forever. The familiar feeling of kissing Yuzu mends all the broken parts of my heart, making me feel like we were never apart. This is the type of love I always wanted and now I found it

Flash!

The sound of a camera going off breaks the kiss and no doubt about it, it was Captain Javi from the front seat

"Whoops! Sorry guys, the chat has been lacking content lately"

"Javi let the kids have their fun, they've been apart for a while" Coach laughs trying to scold Javi

"So what have I missed?" I ask starting a conversation

"Well Canadian Nationals for starters", Coach says annoyed, "This Romano guy is sure getting on my nerves"

"Yeah, I was looking forward to competing" I say disappointed

"Don't worry Charlie-chan, I was too sick to compete at Japan Nationals" Yuzu adds trying to lighten the mood

"I came in first at Europeans!" Javi adds pumping up his fists

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For the rest of the day, Yuzu has been keen on making up for all the time we missed together and now he's holding me hostage wanting to read his favourite manga to me
"Ok, ok fine I'll let you read to me Yuzu!" I tell him putting me hands up in surrender and laughing as he pats a spot on the bed next to him
I pull off the covers and wrap my arms around him and lay my head on his chest as he begins to read the first volume of "Tokyo Ghoul"
"Charlie-chan, I'm so happy that you're home" Yuzu say turning to me and kissing my temple
"Home is wherever you are Yuzu"
