"When the tears fall down your pretty face, My love will blow the storm away,"

Present Day-- Time Lapse 4 Months

The house was decked out in every possible shade of pink, much to Tobias's initial annoyed expression when he first heard about it, he's now taken a back by how beautiful everything looks. How the mixtures of pink, the treats, the gifts, the friends and family, and the pictures of his baby girl's sonogram hung about makes this whole experience come to life even more. In just a few short months, as Tris enters her third trimester, they are going to have a daughter. A little family all their own, another one of their dreams coming true.

"It's pretty incredible isn't it?" Tris asks, coming up behind her husband. Her arms wrapping around his waist, but unable due to her growing belly to hold him close.

Turning, so that Tobias instead wraps his arms fully around his pregnant wife, he smiles. "It's pretty amazing. I thought all the pink would be nauseating, but it just makes me more excited for our girl to come into the world."

"The next three months, give or take, will fly by. I can promise you that."

Tris was almost convinced that Tobias was more excited for this baby than she was, and it was a truly breathtaking sight.

It was a side of Tobias that Tris had never seen, and many years ago wondered if she would ever see. The parental side of him, even though their little girl wasn't here yet, he was a full blown daddy already. Building and putting everything together for her nursery, talking to the baby late at night when he thought Tris was fast asleep and just the way he talks about the baby everyday.

He was happy; genuinely happy. And it made Tris equally happy, maybe more. To see her husband who had gone through so many troubles make it here, make it to this life... it was a miracle in her eyes. A miracle.

Six Months Ago

Tris's hands trembled as she held the small stick, time seeming to drag as she stared anxiously at it. Waiting for the sign to appear, for the answer to the nerve wrecking yet exciting question.

Tobias waited in the bedroom, sitting on the edge of the bed, his elbows resting on his knees. He was nervous, but he couldn't help but feel the anticipation coursing through him at the idea of seeing a positive sign show up on that pregnancy test.

The door to the bathroom opened, and his head lifted. Looking to Tris who stood in the doorway, Tobias's shirt hanging long on her body as she held the test in her hands.

Tobias can't see her expression as she has her face casted down towards the stick in her hands, and he has no idea what she's thinking or what that stick says. Tris's head lifts slowly, and Tobias sees the tears glistening in her blue-grey eyes. Shimmering like that of the sun shinning down on a beautiful lake.

Tobias's first reaction is a dropping heart as he spots her tears, guessing the answer. But as her lips curl upward, those hopes he had raised begin to raise again.

"I'm pregnant," Tris whispers, a smile breaking out on her face. "I'm pregnant Tobias."

She had been pregnant once before with Tobias's baby; but that time nothing about it felt right. But as she stands there, smiling and crying in joy as she holds a positive pregnancy test, it feels right. The way Tobias jumps up and spins her around as he too, laughs and cries a few tears of joy. Seeing his happiness, seeing that he can take care of not only himself but a family now, it feels right. Husband and wife, in their own home, it all feels right.

It was the moment they both had dreamed, hoped and prayed for. Everything about that moment felt perfect, felt blessed, and just felt right.

Present Day

Tobias sat in the warm light of the lamp flooding the music room late at night. He had gotten up from bed beside Tris, nearing midnight with words swirling around in his mind keeping him from rest. Words that he was putting to chords, a song coming together in his mind.

He sat, in his pajama pants and plain black t-shirt, with his guitar on his lap. Papers spread across the table as he took turns writing things down and playing the strings that he wanted to pair with each soulful lyric.

"Sometimes it feels like I'm so far away, Like everything I love has lost its place."

"When life gets the best of me, I just close my eyes and see,"

As Tobias sings and plays his guitar softly, he doesn't notice Tris standing in the doorway. Her hands resting on her growing baby bump with a warm smile upon her lips. Listening to her beautiful husband singing a beautiful song.

"Fireflies dancing in the yard, Under a blanket of stars,"

"The sound of that rusty string guitar, Playin' songs we know."

"And all that I have to do, Is think one little thought of you,"

"And I'm back home, I'm right back home."

As Tris listens lovingly to the lyrics, she can't help but send a mental message down to her unborn daughter who listens lovingly too. "That's your daddy, baby girl."

A/N: Hope this one is okay, I liked how the ending turned out. Baby FourTris should be here in the next chapter or two! :)
