As I gave Tiger one more punch, he went tumbling down.

"AND OUR CHAMPION WINS AGAIN!" My friend Jax the announcer, yelled.

The crowd started to cheer as a familiar looking girl grinned and made her way up the stairs and onto the ring where I stood. I shrugged and adjusted my hand wraps knowing this will be an easy win.

But looking at her, she really did look familiar. I do not know why at all, but it feels like I know her somehow. Shaking all thoughts from my head, I got into a fighting stance. When the bell rang, we started to circle each other.

She had long brown hair, brown and green eyes and had a tattoo on her hip as well as a faint six-pack outline. Shadow had a lean body that showed she trained a lot. I did not see her giving away any weak spots and decided to just go for it.

Trying to land a punch, dodging it before I even had the chance to retract my hand. Before I even knew what was going on, I was flipped over and hit the ground. Getting up, I swept her feet from under her.

She fell back and pushed herself up so quickly, I did not have the see her aiming to kick me straight in the ribs exactly where Tiger kicked me earlier.

She is a damn good fighter and blocked all of my punches, returning the favor soon after, aiming all of them to where she kicked me. I crouched down in pain as she took hold of my head bringing her knee up to my nose, successfully breaking it.

Falling to the floor, I slipped into darkness, the noise around me fading away, all thought leaving me. All I knew was that I had lost to Shadow, and I would find out who she was, one way or another.

I opened my eyes for the hundredth time and took in my surroundings. I was in my cars backseat at The Cage.

I got up and both my friends, Jax and Jade walked up to me. "I know, I know. No need to rub it in." I looked up at them and saw both boys grinning at me. I shook my head and took my phone out to observe the damage done to my face. Luckily, it was only a few visible bruises from the night, and then there is my nose that is now broken with a few drops of blood.

"Jade, how is it possible that our once cocky and arrogant champion got his feet swiped out from beneath him? Literally and figuratively." Jax asked Jade like I am not standing in the same area as them.

"You see it too? I thought it was my mind playing tricks." Jade replied him,

"Nah, I think this girl got into the infamous Firestorm's head, Jade!"

"Would you two stop it?" I asked them irritated, "She is a great fighter, I admit that, but-"

"Or do you just not want to admit the rest?"

"What else is there to admit, Jade?"

"I don't know. I have my opinions. But we know you do too and that it's not only her fighting that you admire." He said wiggling his eyebrows up and down at me,

"You like this girl," Jax said, lifting his right brow. I guess they find this very amusing then.

"She just looks awfully familiar."

"You saw that too? She came to the bar to sign up her name, but when I asked her, she got a bit defensive."

I sighed in irritation as I remembered her amazing hip peony flower tattoo. I have seen that before somewhere.

"What happens now?" Jax asked me,

I looked over at Jade, the computer genius. "Would you be able to try and find her real identity?"

"Sure. I mean it would take some time, but it should be do-able"

"Then that's what we will be doing for the next few days." I confirmed and got into the front of my car.
