"Does everyone know what to do?" My father asked,

The gang leaders nodded in response along with a few murmurs of agreement in the crowd in front of us.

"Today is the day we take Paul and his men by surprise. Today is the day he falls and we save our gangs. I'm going to be blunt and I'm going to be forward about this. All of us know that some will enter and not make it out, some will get injured and some may be part of the victory and share it with the rest, but nothing is for sure. Before we go and head to the building and cemetery for battle, I want you to identify what you are fighting for. Are you fighting for friends? Family? Your gang? Your life? Whatever it is, think of that and use it to push you to your limits today. And then I just want to say thank you to all of you that were willing to be part of this war, wither it is for your own benefit or someone else's, thank you. Now, what do you say we go kick some butt!" I finished. There were applause and yelling of agreements, some saying that they will fight to the end. Today is the day Paul regrets that he has ever messed with the gang communities...

One by one the gangs disappeared to their allocated places, ready to attack when needed. We were armed with guns, knives, bombs, everything we could possibly carry and still fight as we pleased. Most of us were excited and others were scared. Scared for their loved ones, scared for friends and scared for their lives.

Thoughts like these ran through my head when I went to one of the doors with Daniel and Nathan behind me. My dad and Rob went the other way with some members of the other gangs. Just when I was about to open the door Daniel lightly took my elbow in his hand. I turned to look at him and saw fear in his eyes.

"Elna, whatever happens in there, I love you, we will make it out and we can pretend that we never had to fight this battle..." He said kissing me on the forehead. I smiled at him and pecked his lips, "I love you too, and yes, we will make it out in one piece," I said looking at Nathan, "All of us. And for goodness sakes, Nathan go back to Milissa. She is still not over you and frankly, I don't think you are either." I said smiling at my embarrassed brother.

"On three," I said looking at the timer on my watch. The countdown to when we were going to burst through the doors nearing zero, "One. Two. Three!" We barged through the doors of the once abandoned building along with the rest of the groups. All of us pointing Our guns to the three huge gangs in front of us. And by huge I mean a lot of people are in this building. I don't know how, but somehow we are outnumbered by a few. Three gangs outnumbering twenty-three all together? He must have gotten some other gangs to join his cause from America. Cause damn, three gangs can't possibly be made up of the amounts of people in this room.

Everyone was armed and their guards up, not daring to move an inch.

"Wow Elna, I must say, you really are a smart one," Paul came from the corner clapping his hands in a slow mocking gesture.

"You figured out what the message meant, got all the gangs left to join you in this war and risk their lives. Not to mention you knew who to trust and who to leave out. You even got here a day earlier than I expected. But no matter, everything will run according to plan. Oh, and I should thank you, after finding out that Arno and Jane spilled some of my secrets it just made it easier to shoot them. They were becoming a pain."

"You killed them?" I asked,

"Yup. It was bound to happen anyway, you of all people should know that." He said shrugging his shoulders like it was nothing. Sure I killed people before, but only in self-defense never for fun or amusement.

"Do you maybe recon that Elizabeth already knew they were dead. I heard you two had a fall out after she kept some secrets from you." He said mocking me with arm gestures, "How dare she even so much as try to protect you. You of all people. What was going through her head when she made the decision of not telling you about your parents or your whole family for that matter. What was going through your head?" He asked me smirking. How I wanted to do nothing more than pull this trigger right there and then, but I knew that I would be basically killing everyone in this building. If one shot fires, the rest will fire and most of the people will be falling to the ground with gun wounds, and I made a promise to myself that I will rather put myself in danger and get as many of my people out of here as I can, than put my needs in front of theirs'.

"If this is your attempt to rile me up, it's pathetic. Really you can do better Paul. Did the eye that I took from you not fuel this revenge plan? Or is this thing to prove to your father that you don't need him? That you can control better than he ever could? Two can play this game, Paul,"

"Elna, don't play games with me and talk about stuff you don't know. And as for the eye I had it coming, and besides, that was years ago, why dwell on the past?"

"Is this all we are going to do? 'Cause honestly I don't think the rest wants to hear us argue. So can we please get on with it, I have better things to do than war,"

"So then without further ado..." And just like that, the war began...
