To my surprise, the old man actually took the needle away from me and helped me back to the van, I can safely say that he did it a lot more gentle than the previous time.

He helped me into the back and got into the driver seat while the previous driver got in the back with me.

We took off at a steady pace as all three of us sat in awkward silence.

"So, you know my name and surname, but I don't know the peoples' that claims to be my family and kidnapped me, nor do I know his sidekick's name," I said in a matter of fact tone that caused the old man to burst out laughing and the other guy to snort but looked like he was holding back a smile,

"And you told me that I was off my rocker," The guy up front said still laughing causing me to grin,

"Well, you are! You broke an entry, meddled with my family and kidnapped me!"

"You didn't leave us much of a choice hun, anyway, his name's Jack, mines Robert, Rob for short, and I'm his brother, not his bloody sidekick,"

"Okay, it doesn't really help if I introduce myself since you already know so much about me," I told them while looking down at my feet,

"Can you blame us? We didn't know that you were part of our family until a few days ago, we did everything we could to know more about you,"

"I guess only half of what you know is true then, I have absolutely nothing more than my name, family and stuff like that registered on Elna White, and even less on Black Shadow. But I'm curious, what makes you think I'm part of your family?"

"Both you and Lizzy have your mother's appearance, her eyes, her smile, but she didn't tell us that she was pregnant with twins, in fact, she didn't tell us or anyone that she was pregnant at all,"

"Wait, I'm confused, I'm sure you would have noticed her baby bump, and I'm almost eighteen, how did she keep it from you that long?"

It was silent for a few moments when Rob finally spoke up, "You see Elna, your mother was a stress eater," He started and chuckled looking like he remembered a distant memory, "So the first month we just thought she was under a lot of stress, so the gaining weight wasn't unusual for us since it happened a few times before, but she always managed to lose the weight like it was nothing, lucky bugger... Anyway, after the first month, she hadn't told anyone anything, and then she was kidnapped. Her kidnappers must have known that she was pregnant because they kept her well hidden for about around eight months, we searched high and low for that woman but she was nowhere to be found...then one day we received a message from them, or more like a video, they...they recorded the whole thing, she was tied up to a chair while they filmed it, and they...they shot her, they murdered her in cold blood and send us the damn video just to get back at us..." Rob blinked away a few tears and I can see that it affected them both greatly but I just couldn't hold back my curiosity at the question that popped into mind,

"What do you mean 'they wanted to get back at you'?"

"A few months before they kidnapped her, we had a race and they lost, that means they have to give up the car that they raced with, but they didn't take the loose so well, they usually win and became arrogant with their races against us. They argued and wanted a rematch but we refused, they had lost and had to accept it. Their racer eventually pulled out his gun and started to fire at us, he gave some of our men gunshot wounds and eventually his gang joined in so of course we pulled out our own guns and began to shoot back. We shot almost half of their gang that day, so naturally, they wouldn't be happy with us, but we never thought that they would drag Maddie into all of this." Jack answered,
