A/N- This imagine is for Melissasturges, however it ventured slightly from the original plan as it was getting to be a little too long, I hope you don't mind.

You sister had been less than happy when you had explained your idea to her, your plan to travel to Westeros alone to see if you couldn't convince the Stark boy to join your cause. You both knew it was a long shot, and a dangerous one at that, but once your mind was made up it became almost impossible to change it. Dany couldn't go, not now that she was married, and it was unlikely that Viserys' quick temper would do any of you any favours in political discourse.

"You will do whatever he asks of you, no matter how sordid the task," Viserys was muttering, watching as you nodded your agreement; you already knew that if the boy tried to put his hands on you there would be no way of stopping him, but you were not one to take an attack laying down, and you would put up some sort of fight were he to advance on you without your permission.

"I would never do anything that could lose you his support," you started as he squinted at you for a short moment. "I want you back on Father's throne as much as you want to be there," you added and he nodded his agreement before turning to stalk away from you to the other side of the room.

"Did you remember to pack your warmer dresses?" Dany asked you, coming to stand close beside you as she glanced down into your chest. "It's far colder in Westeros than it is here, especially in the North," she continued as you chuckled slightly.

"I remembered," you answered her softly, moving to pull her into a tight hug, "I'll be fine." She nodded as you released her, forcing a small smile onto her lips, which only faltered moments later.

"Are you sure that I can't go with her?" she asked as she turned to look at your brother, who looked bored of the conversation before it had even started.

"Your husband will not allow it," Viserys started, only for Dany to cut him off.

"We don't know that. We never bothered to ask him." You knew that Viserys was growing agitated, but this time he had turned on Dany quicker than ever, crossing the room in a few strides to grab her by her hair and force her back against the table beside you, which rocked under the added weight. You stood in silence, knowing that there was nothing you could do to help Dany as your brother snarled in her face.

"You will stay here and continue to fuck him until he gives me what I want," he spat at her and she nodded slightly, unable to speak.

"Dany, I'll be fine with Jorah, I promise you." Both of your siblings looked at you after that, Viserys forcing a smile onto his face as Dany continued to frown.

"See," Viserys started, releasing Dany entirely and taking a step towards you, his hand coming to rest lightly on your cheek. You had to force you face to remain neutral, to not wince and squirm under his touch. "You should aim to be more like Y/N," he added, glancing over his shoulder at your sister, "she behaves herself."

*Time Skip*

The journey across the narrow sea had been anything but relaxing, you had found yourself attempting to sleep through the sickness that rose in your throat with each bob of the ship, and Jorah had spent most of his time sitting beside your bed, speaking with you whenever you felt well enough to converse. You had grown to quite enjoy his company, despite your initial distrust of the man, and you had begun to ask more and more questions about Westeros, listening intently to his replies and thinking them through as you waited for sleep to come to you each night.

When you finally made port you had been positively gleeful, bounding onto the steady land as quickly as you could manage, and watching as Jorah attempted to keep up with you. You finally stopped moving around the port after a few minutes of stretching your limbs, and waiting as patiently as you could as he sorted travel for the two of you and your chest. You were tapping your toe against the ground when he came back to your side. "I found a cart going north, Princess," he started holding his hand out to help you to your feet. You saw him glance over your shoulder for a moment before he returned his gaze to you. "I think it would be best if you covered your head until we reached the Stark camp," he told you softly, causing you to glance over your shoulder to find two women staring at you, there seemed to be little menace in their watchful gazes, more sheer amazement, but you couldn't be too careful.
