"Do you like this one?" Harry asks, showing me his phone screen. Liam, Niall, and Zayn left a few hours ago, and Harry and I are now cuddled in bed looking at complementary couples tattoos. Thanks to Harry, we decided on a nautical theme.

"It's alright." I shrug at the picture of the ship and lighthouse.

"You don't like it, do you?" Harry smirks.

"Not really." I chuckle. After a few more minutes of searching, I find the perfect tattoos. Well, perfect in my mind.

"Haz." I say, gently hitting his shoulder to get his attention. Harry has been laying on his stomach in between my thighs, playing with my t-shirt ever since I rejected his ship and lighthouse idea.

"Hmm?" He hums.

"Baby look." Harry grunts and slowly sits up, moving so that he is sitting next to me. Then, he grabs my phone to further examine the tattoos.

"What do you think?" I ask as I bite my lip to hide my smile.

"It's perfect Lou. I love it." Harry places a kiss on my cheek before returning to the picture.

"Which one do I get?" Harry wonders.

"Well," I start, pointing to each tattoo, "I maybe I'll get the rope and you'll get the anchor?"

"Yeah, I like that." Harry smiles. However, his smile momentarily fades.

"Wouldn't management be suspicious of us getting tattoos at the same time? I mean, it's obvious that they go together."

"We'll just get them at separate times. We're going into the studio tomorrow so one of us will get it on the way there, the other will get it on the way back. Plus, both of us already have quite a lot of tattoos, so it'll be fine."

"But I want you to be there with me, Boo." Harry frowns.

"Liam, Niall, and Zayn can all go with us so management won't be suspicious." I smile. "Let's try and get some sleep and we'll tell the boys tomorrow, yeah?" Harry nods in agreement and we fall asleep in each other's arms. More like we try to sleep, because we're too excited for tomorrow.

-

Morning could not have come soon enough. Harry and I woke up earlier than usual, and we didn't even bother to go back to bed because we're far too excited to get the tattoos. It's probably not that big a deal to most people, but to us, it's going against management without them knowing; hiding in plain sight.

"Did you call the boys yet?" Harry asks as he makes breakfast for the two of us.

"I'll do that right now. Can I go first for the tattoos? I don't want to be thinking about it all day because I'll get nervous." I say. Harry nods his head, and I dial Liam's number.

"Hey, Li. Can you and the other boys pick up Haz and I a little bit earlier today? I'm getting the tattoo this morning and Harry's getting it on the way back from the studio." I explain.

"Yeah, I'll pick everyone up. What did you decide on?" Liam replies.

"We'll tell all of you in the car." I smile.

"Alright, see you then mate. I'll be there in about 20 minutes." With that, Liam and I both said our goodbyes and hung up.

-

"Alright boys, we're here." Liam announces.

"Ready babe?" Harry asks me as he places his hand on my knee.

"I guess." I say, taking a shaky breath.

"I'm right here. You'll be fine." He whispers. All five of us get out of the car and walk to the tattoo parlor with the bodyguard who drove with us.

"So, what kind of tattoo are you thinking of, and where?" The tattoo artist, Ben, asks. Ben is tall and skinny, with gauges and shoulder length hair. He also has many, many tattoos.

"Um, I was thinking of getting a rope on my right wrist. Do you know what an infinity rope looks like?" I ask. Ben thinks for a minute before nodding his head.

"Do you want me to do a couple sketches for you?" I nod my head and begin talking to the boys while we wait.

"Which one looks good?" Ben asks after about 30 minutes. He hands me a piece of paper with 3 similar designs on them. I immediately turn to Harry to see which one is the best.

"What do you think, Lou?" Harry asks. After examining each one for a few minutes, I point to the one in the top right corner.

"It looks like your initials because the ropes are tied wrong." I whisper to Harry.

"Is that why you're picking it?" He smirks.

"Yeah." I admit, slightly squirming in the black cushioned seat. Harry scrunches his nose at my actions. He always does this when we're in public and he can't kiss me or fond over me. "I want this one." I tell Ben as I point to the drawing on the top right corner of the page.

"Perfect. I'll be right back, I'm gonna get this drawn up on some transfer paper."

-

"All set?" Ben asks. He just transferred the sketch from the paper to my arm, and the ink is all ready now.

"As ready as I'll ever be." I nervously chuckle.

"You've got quite a few tattoos now, you should be used to it." Ben chuckles.

"Yeah, you'd think he would be used to the pain by now." Zayn laughs and the other boys join in. Before the needle touches my skin, Harry moves his seat from where the boys are across the room. He is now sitting next to me, resting his hand on my left arm and gently making circles on my skin with his thumb. He is also holding my hand under the arm of the chair so that no one sees; he squeezes my hand whenever I wince at the pain, which is quite often.

"You're all set." Ben smiles as he finishes wrapping up the new tattoo.

"Thanks so much." I say.

"We better get going, we're going to be late." Our security guard informs us. I quickly pay and we all rush to the car, Harry and I beaming the entire way there.
