The New House

"Don't worry about the move out soldiers, the good news is that we bought a better looking house than the old one that we use to have. It's better looking and a lot cheaper too, I can't wait to live on it. Look we are here already." said Sargeant Josh, while driving.

    Sargent Josh then looks at his wife and his son, who were sleeping. He then drives into the driveway of their new house and parks the truck. He later gets out of the truck and gets his trumpet out. Sargent Josh then blows on it.

"Ahhh!!!!" said both Jaden and Jessica, when they hear the trumpet.

"Oh good you're awake. Come out of the truck and look at your new home." said Sargent Josh. Chuckling and putting his trumpet back in it's case. He then walks towards the front door of their new house.

"18 hours to get here and he still wakes us up with his trumpet." said Jaden, as he yawns his way out of the truck.

"Tell me about it." said Jessica, following him.

As the two are sleepwalking towards sargent Josh, they then look at the outside of the house. Sargent Josh then opens the front door, and leaves it open for Jaden and Jessica to enter.

"Wait a minute, so this is where all our furniture went after you told us that it was missing. Here in this house, how... did... When... did this all happen?" said Jaden

"It was a surprise," said Sargent Josh

"Jessica, did you know about this?" said Jaden

"Trust me I didn't know about it until I told him that I was going to make a police report about it. And he later told me not to do it because according to him we were going to move a couple of days later." said Jessica

"Before those days he always told us not to worry about it, because we will be getting new furniture soon. After we moved." said Jaden

"Yeah well not soon enough." said Jessica

"Well Scout, why don't you start putting all of your clothes into where they belong. While i'll go and help your stepmom with her stuff. Also don't forget to divide your clothes from uniforms with the uniforms and regular clothes with the regular clothes. I'll check on you later. Dismissed." said Sargent Josh

Jaden then goes to every room including the 2nd floor of their new 2 floor house, just to look for his room. When he found his room Jaden then puts his clothes away and into the closet or in his drawer. There was a knock on his door, it was his father.

"How are you doing scout? Let's see here... hmm the drawers are looking good, the closet has uniforms on the right side and the regular clothes on the left. No mess around, well that's good. Well scout I am proud of you, your room looks quite tidy up as I do say so myself. Well then lunch is served, come on down." said Sargent Josh, as he was leavening Jaden's room

"Whew." said Jaden, when exiting his room.

When Jaden enters the dining room table, his father and his stepmother are talking.

"And like I was looking for directions for the best pizza place in town and I did. Supposedly this pizza place has a five star rating so, then I said let's try it out." said Jessica, opening the pizza box.

"Mmm... smells good." said Sargent Josh, while getting a slice of pizza.

Jaden then goes and washes his hands, sits down and eats a slice of pizza, that Jessica put on his plate. After they were done eating, Jaden then looks at his father.

"Permission to speak sir." said Jaden

"Permission granted, scout." said Sargent Josh

"Jessica, today's dinner was the best dinner that I ever tasted." said Jaden

"Why thank you Jaden." said Jessica

Sargent Josh then clears out his voice.

"Well then, now that we are all settled in, I have some good news and I have some bad news. Which one do you want to hear first?" said Sargent Josh

"The good news." said Jessica

"Well the good news is that we have finally moved into our new house. However the bad news is that I have to leave the next day first thing in the morning, to deal with some duties back in Cali." said Sargent Josh

"What!!! You Are leaving the next day!!!! But we just beverley got here and your just leaving us again!!!! I can't believe this." said Jaden

"Now Scout, don't raise your voice up to me young man!!!" said Sargent Josh

"You know what Sargent, I don't want to argue with you because I respect you. So I will just argue to myself outside. May I be excused please." said Jaden

"Yes Scout you can be an excuse." said Sargent Josh in a grumpy tune.

As Jaden leaves into the backyard, he then gets his basketball out and starts to shoot three pointers into the basket. A few minutes later his stepmom then comes out of the house and walks towards him.

"Permission to speak." said Jaden

"Permission granted." said Jessica

"It's not fair, that we finally moved here and he is going to leave the next day. I... I am just so upset by the news that. I just don't know what to think." said Jaden

"Well I also don't know what to think, but let's not forget that your father is doing it for us. So that we can have a better future, I know that it is going to be hard to watch him leave again. But sooner or later he is going to come back again, it'll just be for a few days." said Jessica

"Yeah, well maybe you're right. It'll just be for a few days only." said Jaden

"Yup, let's go inside of the house. It's getting dark." said Jessica

After talking, Jaden and Jessica went inside of the house. They then started to stay with Sargent Josh, and listen to another reason of why he was leaving.
