The next day, after practice. Mrs. Mica, Katie, Sydney, Smooth talk Ken, Teddy Gok, Jessica, and Jaden, were walking along the sidewalk.
"Man, what a win." said Smooth talk Ken
"Yeah, all thanks to Jaden." said Katie
"You sure proved Zach and the rest of the EELS wrong." said Sydney
"We all did, it was a team effort." said Jaden
"That's right." said Teddy Gok
"We're so proud of you guys." said Jessica
"Yes, very proud." said Mrs. Mica
Smooth talk Ken then looks at Izbel, who was walking their way.
"Hey Iz." said Smooth talk Ken
"Hi S.T.K." said Izabel
"Cool wave riding from yesterday, you did great." said Smooth talk Ken
"Thanks, S.T.K. and same to you guys, too." said Izabel, as she looked down, after looking at everyone.
"Why, the long face Iz? You also did great!" said Smooth talk Ken
"I know." said Izabel
"So, what's up?" said Katie
"Today, is draft day." said Izabel
"Already?!" said Smooth talk Ken
"Yea. And our coach have already announced that half of our good surfers have been put on the EELS team." said Izabel
"What?!" said Katie, Sydney, and Smooth talk Ken
"Yea. And now, the EELS have a better chance of winning this year. Because, now not only did they got some of our best surfers, but all of the other surfing teams as well." said Izabel
"But not us, right." said Smooth talk Ken
"No, I don't think so." said Izabel
"But, I thought that draft day was going to be in a few days?" said Mrs. Mica
"Yes, but the winning surfing team gets first pick." said Teddy Gok
"Oh man, this isn't good." said Sydney
"Yea, but that's not also what I'm upset about." said Izabel
"Come on Iz, just tell us." said Smooth talk Ken
"Ken." said Katie
"There might be a possibility that... they might draft me or Katie, into the EELS surfing team as well." said Izabel
"What?!" said everyone
"Oh no." said Jaden
"I won't, I will never leave my team!" said Katie
"Same here Katie." said Izabel
"Now that is really messed up." said Smooth talk Ken
"They can't do that!" said Sydney
"And they won't." said Mrs. Mica
"Who gave Coach EEL the idea to move us into his team?!" said Katie
"Zach." said Izabel
"I knew it." said Sydney
"I mean come on, he did tell us. After he thought that Jaden was leaving back to shore." said Katie
"Oh yeah." said Sydney
"And we took it by surprise." said Smooth talk Ken
