Chapter 7

ALEXA'S POV:

It was my turn to freeze. The feel of his lips on mine brought an electric sensation I couldn't decipher. I remained still until he moved his lips and I followed his action. Wow this was pretty easy.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and continued mimicking his actions. He pulled me closer to his body as his lips caressed mine.

He continued sucking on my lips till my cellphone rang. I stopped abruptly biting his lip in the process

"Sorry sorry, I have to take this" I quickly ran to grab my phone. My hands shaking as my heart was hammering hard in my heart

"Alex, are you alright? You didn't come to work today" Suzzy asked. I cleared my throat before answering her

"Oh I..I'm with....." she gasped before I could complete my statement

"Did I disturb your make out session" I blushed hard

"I'll see you tomorrow" i said hurriedly

"You go girl, don't do something you know I wouldn't do" I giggled and ended the call

"That was my friend Suzzy" I said to him. He moved closer and I gulped

"Okay, so were we?" He tried kissing me again but I placed my hands on his chest

"I thought you were angry at me" I stared

"Of course not, why would I be?"

"But, it looked like you were. When I kissed you, you didn't in return and also, you were acting distant awhile ago" I ranted on and on

"I was just surprised that's all. Besides, you said you wanted to take things slow so I thought maybe it was my imagination playing tricks on me" he explained bringing my hands to his lips kissing my knuckles

"I'm sorry for the way I acted earlier, I don't know what came over me. I guess I got mad about what Riley said to me" I didn't get just mad, I was jealous but I can't tell him that, he's not even mine

"What did she say?" What if he thinks am silly

"I don't want to talk about it. Let's talk about something else" I changed the subject and went back to sit on the couch

"What do you want to talk about?" He sat beside me

"You, I want to know about you" he smiled before narrating his life story to me.

Daniel has a pretty sad life, and here I thought that I had gone through a lot of things but, what Daniel went through was more painful.

From being sent to the orphanage at a young age, being abandoned by his father, striving hard to graduate from college without a job, it was very hard.

I don't care about whatever it takes to make him happy, I'll try my best to always put a smile on his face, love him and make him feel important because he is, to me

After studying for an hour, we decided to call it a night.

"I'll see you tomorrow?" He asked grabbing his stuff.

"Yeah" he turned to leave but I didn't want to end the night like this.

"Goodnight" he smiled before turning the door knob to leave. Alexandra do something you chicken, he's leaving. But I couldn't, my brain decided to crash for awhile.

The moment he left, I slid down the door cussing myself for being such a coward. I stood up when I heard a knock

"Daniel, what are you still doing here?" I was surprised, I thought he left already

"Sorry I forgot something" before I could ask what it was, he crashed his lips into mine.

I kissed him back pulling him closer to me. This was what I wanted. Sigh I don't think I can get enough of his kisses.

"Now I can leave" he said pecking my lips while I blushed hard. My face was as red as a tomato at this point

"Goodnight" I kissed his cheeks then quickly ran into my apartment and started squealing. I touched my lips which were swollen from our kiss. If I could, I would do a somersault but that's a bad idea. I tried that one time and I nearly lost one leg

I went to have my bath before retiring to bed. Today didn't go as planned but at least, I got to be with the man I like very much.

I woke up this morning with a smile on my face. Today was Sunday so no school but we planned on spending today together.

I quickly got dressed and went to her house. The moment I arrived there she dragged me inside

"Quickly, I want all the details" I laughed at her excitement and told her exactly what happened

"Wow, who new you were a possessive woman" she joked putting her hand on her chest in a dramatic manner "but I'm proud of you though, I thought you guys would go further than that, you no what I mean" she said winking at the

"Gosh Suzzy, you're so naughty" I covered my face in shame

"What??? Is it wrong that I want to be an aunt soon" I gasped but blushed at the thought of having babies with Daniel

"Why don't you make me an aunt instead" I joked back

"Oh you know, I haven't exactly found my prince charming yet but, when I do find him, I'm going to give him a real beating for taking too long to come" we both burst into laughter

"I pity the poor guy" I said in between laughs

"Yeah me too. Soooo when are you going to introduce me to your boyfriend"

"Which boyfriend?" I asked confused

"Daniel of course. Don't tell me you have another one girlfriend" oh I didn't know she was referring to him

"He's not my boyfriend suzzy" she looked at me confused

"Then what were you telling me awhile ago?" She got up to take some snacks from the kitchen and I followed her

"Well we kissed yes but, that doesn't mean we are dating yet. I don't even know if he wants a relationship with me" she sighed

"You see why I don't understand relationships, they're so complicated. I hope Daniel treats you right or imma burst his ass" I laughed and hugged her tightly for caring so much about me but I do have a lot of things running through my mind

What's going to happen between Daniel and I? Are we going to be together and if so when?
