Chapter 9

ALEXA'S POV:

It was official, Daniel and I were now dating. I'm so happy. I went to school this morning minding my business as always

"Hey Alex" Miranda called me. That was unusual

"What do you want?" I crossed my arms preparing myself for anything

"I just wanted to apologise for Riley's behavior earlier, she's just so obsessed with ruining you" wow this was shocking

"But why would she feel that way?" She opened her mouth to say something but decided against it.

"I don't know" with that she left hurriedly. That's weird

The day went by smoothly but when we closed I saw Riley talking to Daniel in front of my school. I watched her storm off.

"Hey" I walked over to Daniel curious about what that was

"I came to take you out" he hugged me

"Really where?" I felt excited. He just chuckled and swung his hands around my shoulders

"Hmm that's a surprise" we left school premises but I had to call Suzzy and inform her that I won't be coming to work so she could cover for me

"So what were you and Riley talking about" his gaze turned hard

"It was nothing" he brushed off the topic. I left it at that, not wanting anything to ruin my mood.

We finally arrived at a beautiful garden with different flowers and all that kind of stuff. Mother nature was so beautiful

"Thanks for bringing me here danny" he smiled before bringing my hands to his lips

"I want to know more about you Alexa" we sat down on the bare grass

"Well there's nothing much to say, I'm an orphan and I've been sending for myself ever since I was little" I felt sad remembering how lonely my life was

"Hey, I'm here now, I'll never make you feel lonely. You're very special to me" I hugged him tight sobbing into his shirt

Daniel took me home and kissed me goodbye. I decided to call Suzzy later or perhaps I'll go to her house after all she said I was welcomed anytime

DANIEL'S POV:

I was so pissed to see Riley's hand plastered on the face of my girlfriend. I couldn't say or do anything because I didn't want to upset her or cause her any worries any more but that didn't mean I wasn't going to do anything about it

"Hey you're one of Riley's friends right" I went to Alexa's school to confront that bitch

"Who's asking?" The blond girl whom I'm sure I've seen with Riley before asked me

"Miranda who are you talkin......" Riley gasped the moment she saw and ran over to us

"I'll like to have a word with you" she batted her eyelashes at me

"You may go now Miranda. So to what do I owe this pleasure handsome" she reached to touch me but I held her hands

"Now listen up you desperate queenbee, I don't know what's with you but, I'll not tolerate you misbehaving with my girlfriend. The next time you raise your hands at her again, trust you wouldn't like me" she yanked her hands from my grip

"How dare you talk to me like that, I saw you first that technically means you're mine" seriously what is this, first come, first serve

"Do you even know what 'technically' means?. I do not belong to you got it" she gasped

"What does she have that I don't have" her face was getting all red. I think she might cry soon

"She's kind and down to earth not egotistical like you" okay I'm not mean, I just don't like the way she treats others

"What's.... egotistical?" I rolled my eyes

"Look, I'm not trying to be mean but I pleading with you now not to hurt Alexa again. She's the one I love" she got angry and stormed off

I saw Alexa walking up to me. I hope she didn't hear that else she'll freak out.

  ***AT SUZZY'S MANSION***

I arrived at suzzy's mansion but saw another vehicle parked outside. Does she have a guest or perhaps her parents are around

I rang the doorbell a few times but no one answered so I went in myself. The moment I opened the door, I saw Suzzy making out with someone with his hands aggressively gripping her butt

I turned around instantly closing my eyes while trying delete the images I just saw

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt. I'll just go" Suzzy called me back

"It's okay Alex, I want to introduce you to Ethan" I looked at the gorgeous guy who was busy fixing his hair

"Hello, I'm Ethan Norman" he stretched his hands for a handshake and I took it. The moment our hands touched, I felt this strange connection and from his reaction it's obvious he felt it too

Okay hold up guys, when I mean connection, not in a romantic way but in a 'I've known him somewhere before' way. Maybe it's because I've seen him talking to Suzzy before

"Hi, I'm Alexandra but you can call me Alex" I finally answered

"Wow, beautiful name for a gorgeous woman" I blushed while Suzzy dragged him by his ear towards the door

"Alright time to go" she said still pulling on his  ear. They looked so cute together

"Relax babes, I'm all yours" he kissed her again. I stood there awkwardly staring at anything but them.

They finally left go of each other and Ethan turned to leave not before throwing me a sexy wink.

"O-k, so what happened" I started drilling Suzzy for questions

"Relax, we should discuss in my room" remember how the first time I came here, every inch of the house looked amazing, now standing before me was suzzy's room which was in a hell of a mess

"What happened here? Was there a tornado or something that occurred in only this room" she blushed at my statement

"OMG, YOU GUYS HAD SEX" she quickly ran over to me and covered my mouth with her hands

"Sssssh, my neighbors will hear you" I swapped her hands away

"Oh come on. I'm sure they heard the sounds from the......um events that happened" she giggled

"Okay, so as you already know, we did it last night" I gasped faking a tear

"My baby's all grown up" she threw a pillow at me

"Shut up" I told her the events that has been happening in my life and that Danny and I were now a couple. Danny? I like that nickname

"I'm so happy for you boo. Now you're finally with the man of your dreams"

"I'm happy for you too. I'll probably soon be an aunt" I joked wiggling my eyebrows at her

"I'll get you" she chased me all around her room till we got tired. I helped her Clean her room, we spent the whole night telling each other stories and laughing with each other

This is how life is supposed to be, happy, full of Hope, love, friends and happiness. Life is short, we should live it to the fullest
