ALEXA'S POV:
The ride back home was quiet. I was sure his sister and mother didn't like me. I got out of the car the moment we arrived
"Hey, you should let me open the door for you" he said walking over to me
"Thanks for tonight, goodnight" I turned to leave but he held me back
"Won't you invite me in?, What's wrong?" I looked away but he turned my face towards him again
"Your sister samurai and step mom didn't like me" I stated
"What makes you think that?" I shrugged
"It was obvious from the way they acted towards me" he sighed
"Don't worry about them. I don't think they like me either besides, we are new to the family so I'm sure we'll take some time getting used to" I looked up at him, even with my 4inch heels, I wasn't still as tall as he was. I guess he got that from his dad
"We?" He chuckled "of course." He smiled before staring at my face and then my lips
"You look so beautiful tonight" my tummy did that normal somersault causing me to blush
"Thank you" I smiled. He held up my face in both hands before kissing me. The kiss was slow and passionate, showing how much we loved and missed each other. I wrapped my arms around you his neck as we kissed the night away.

"I'm so happy for you Alex, you and Daniel deserve to be happy. Oh my goodness I'm going to be an aunt soon" she fanned herself dramatically
"Wait what are you talking about?" She looked at me like I had grown a horn on my nose
"You were so hot last night, there's no way you guys didn't bang each other" my whole face turned red from embarrasment
"Suzzy, use your lady mouth. We didn't okay" at this point, i don't even know the direction our relationship is headed
DANIEL'S POV:
Today was my first day in the office. My dad was going to introduce me to everyone there. You're probably wondering why I'm doing this, some of you may think that I want to enjoy this lavish lifestyle but that's far from the case
All my life, I have always wondered about the purpose of my life. I have always been looking for something, I don't know what but, I feel there's more to me than it already is
I will admit that I am hurt about the fact that my father could have looked for me when I was younger so I could be with him but didn't, I'm actually grateful because living that hard life has moulded me into the man I am today
I also gained the most important gift of my life, I found my soulmate, my one and only love, my Alexa. I know my present situation is a lot to take in for her but, I'll make things work out for the both of us.
"Good morning everyone, I'm sure you've all seen the News about my son. I called this meeting to announce him as the New CEO of Clemonte Enterprise" my jaw dropped. I thought he was going to just give me a position in the company instead, this
Everyone congratulated me and went to their various duty post, leaving me, my father, step mom and samurai in the conference room
"Father what was that about? I'm the one who has been here the longest time. I have seen and helped solve the struggle this company had to go through before finally getting to where it is. You're just going to give it all away to some hobo you picked from the streets?" Samurai blared, anger evident on her face
"SILENCE SAMURAI. This is my company and I can do whatever I want with it. You are a woman and would one day get married and lead your family. Do not questioning my judgement again" he yelled at samurai. Delilah put her hands on her daughter's shoulder restraining her from saying anything else
"Anthonio don't speak to our daughter that way" she queried
"Then she should learn some respect. This is why she hasn't gotten married with that nasty attitude of hers." He sat down on his seat
"She said nothing wrong, what does Daniel know about running a company anyway?" She glared at me. I'm only here for few weeks and I feel like it's a battlefield around here
"They're right father. Although, I read business administration in school, I Know nothing about running a business. I think samurai is the one fit for this job." Samurai just rolled her eyes
"Don't worry son, you're a smart and intellectual young man. I'll ask Roman to help you" he left the office leaving me with the two ladies
"This isn't over Daniel. You're going wish you were never born" great they both hate me. I went to my father's office to try and reason with him
"Father I think samurai is right, I can't run the company" he dropped his glasses
"You can and you will." A man knocked and walked into the office
"Good morning sir" he greeted my father
"Ah! Son this is Roman, he'll be the one to guide you through" I stood up and shook his hands.
We got to work and he gave me a tour of the office. He told me necessary things needed to be done.
It was truly a long day for me. By the time I got home, I felt like fainting. I took a shower a got ready for bed but not before calling her
"Hey" she answered groggily. She must have fallen asleep before I called
"Sorry I woke you up. I'll just call tomorrow" she yawned
"No it's ok..... I miss you so much danny" sigh. I haven't been spending time with her lately due to work pressure was killing me
"I miss you too Alexa. I'm really sorry we haven't seen each other lately" I could hear her sob in the background and that broke me
"Is it always going to be like this? I know you have responsibilities to fulfill but I can't help but feel you're going away from me"
"That will never happen sweetheart. I love you and I promise to make things right, just give me little time to make things ok. Can you do that for me?" She fell quiet for some time
"I will" I smiled at how understanding she was. This girl was my life and I'll do anything to keep her in my life.
SAMURAI'S POV:
I was walking past Daniel's room to get water when I heard his conversation with that girl
"So it seems they love each other very much, it'll be my first priority to ruin the both of you. You're going to wish you never came into my life" I went to my mother's room
"What is it samurai?" I dragged her to my room so that no one could hear our plans
"It seems my little brother has a soft spot for that useless girl he brought to the party. We'll have to see to it they don't end up together" mother smiled
"I have taught you well my child. If you want to cut down a tree, it's best you do it from the root. I'm not going to let one riffraff come and destroy what i have worked so hard to achieve."
"You're right mother. Watch out Daniel, the game has just begun" we laughed at the thought of the excellent plan we've put together
