I was sleeping so peacefully when I got a phone call from Suzzy
"Hey" I answered groggily
"Are you still sleeping? Girl have you seen the news?" She shouted at the other end
"Why what's wrong?" I got up getting worried
"Girl your man is on the News" I ran to the sitting room and switched on the TV

With out further ado, I give you Mr Daniel deluca clemonte" my jaw dropped seeing Danny on the screen looking devastatingly handsome

"Alex is it true?" I forgot that I was still on the phone with Suzzy
"Yes Suzzy, he came to my house last night and told me everything" I told her about last night event after I left the cafe
"Holyshit!! Your man is a freaking billionaire" I looked at the TV screen again when I heard knocking on the door
"I have to go Suzzy someone's knocking" we said our goodbyes and hung up.
I walked over to open the door only to see Daniel standing in front of me in. I gaped wondering if I was imagining or something
"Good morning" he pulled me close and hugged me
"I...I just saw you on TV" he chuckled
"That was just something my dad wanted me to do so he could introduce me to the world. We are also hosting a party tonight and I'll like you to accompany me" as in me? I have never been to such extravagant parties before, I started panicking
"No no no no no....I can't come with you. I don't know what they do in such parties or how to behave. I don't even have anything to wear, I'll just embarrass myself and you too.....I don't want that.. " I was blabbing till he placed a finger on my lip
"Sssh, it'll be alright, there's a first time for everything. I'm also not used to this, that's why I need your support tonight. Besides, I told my father, I'll be bringing my girlfriend and he wants to meet you"
"What??? You told him about me? I'm nobody Danny, what if they don't like me" I said pulling on my hair in frustration
"You're everything to me and I'll be there with you every step of the way" he said reassuring. I looked at his eyes to see that he was honest about going to be there for me
"O..okay but I don't have anything fancy to wear" he chuckled
"Leave that to me" he called up Suzzy to come take me out and get me ready for tonight. My crazy bestie was so thrilled she came immediately to my house and we went to the mall
We purchased a beautiful peach colored gown with matching shoes and clutch bag. We went next to the spa where I had manicure and pedicure, wax and all.
Daniel had given us a card with loads of money and according to Suzzy, I shouldn't let such opportunity pass me buy. Next we went to the salon for hair and makeup.
By the time they were done with me, even I couldn't recognize myself. I felt like a different person. The gown glued to my body like a second skin accentuating all my curves.
I looked stunning. By the time I was ready, Danny was already at my house to pick me up. The moment he saw me, he froze. He couldn't take his eyes of me. Okay, is that a good sign it a bad one. I Know I can never fit in
"Don't you like it?" He finally got out of his trance
"You look spectacular" I blushed. I felt confident after his approval. He took my hands and led me to his car.
My jaw dropped the moment I saw his house. It was a castle for goodness sake painted in nothing but pure gold. The way the house looked in the night was breathtaking.
We both went in and I continued admiring the beautiful castle. The guest were all elegantly dressed making me feel underdressed. He took me to his family
"Mother, father this is Alexandra Smith, my girlfriend" his father welcomed me with open arms while his step mom just smiled at me. She was extremely beautiful but had that evil step mother vibe going on
He also introduced me to his step sisters, Samurai and Anastasia. The were both beautiful like the had been carved specially by God.
Samurai was the eldest daughter and she totally showed me that I was unwelcomed while on the other hand Anastasia was nice, friendly and around my age.
The evening went by smoothly until we sat down to have dinner with them
"So tell me Alexandra, what line of business are your family into?" Samurai asked
"Um....I'm an orphan" I muttered softly
"Oh im so sorry to hear that......not" she smirked at me
"Behave samurai" her mom, aunt Delilah said smirking as well
"Well it doesn't matter, as she's Daniel's girlfriend, you are a part of our family now" Mr clemonte said. I gulped and nodded
Everything else went smoothly and Daniel decided to take me home as it was already late.
DELILAH'S POV:
"Seriously mother, to say that bastard child wasn't enough, he had to bring his girlfriend? Who next is he going to bring?, His mother?" samurai said angrily
"Don't worry about her dear. She's nothing but a little peasant that we can crush. We'll deal with the both of them..... just have patience" we both chuckled at my plan
It's been twenty-one years ago since my husband's mistress got out of our lives and I won't allow her bastard son to come and destroy what I've worked so hard to build just because I didn't bear a son.
I will not sit and watch someone reap where I have sowed. Daniel deluca Clemonte, you better watch your back cause Delilah will ensure you go through hell
