Chapter 34

ALEXA'S POV:

I was so worried hearing about Samurai's escape. I don't want her to come and ruin our families happiness.

The wedding preparations was in full swing, I got ready for the rehearsal dinner tonight. Danny had work to do but, he'll be joining us a bit later.

Suzzy and Ethan had tightened their security in case Samurai tried anything funny. I stood at a corner watching my brother slow dancing with my best friend. I'm so happy for both of them.

I was smiling reminiscing the good times we've all spent together when Max walked up to me

"Wanna dance?" He held out his hands, smiling warmly at me. I smiled placing my hand in his as he led me to the dance floor. We started swaying to the song

"So, I haven't seen your darling husband around or did you make him up?" He raised his brows

"Of course not, he'll be here shortly" he smiled

"I thought you said it just to make me jealous" I rolled my eyes

"Why would I want to make you jealous?" He shrugged, pulling me closer whisper in my ear

"Who knows, you might secretly be in love with me" he whispered wiggling his full brows at me

"You wish" I said as we started laughing when someone cleared their throat

"What's going on here?" An angry looking Daniel asked with his hands folded on his chest

"Max this my husband I was telling you about. Danny, this is Max, Ethan's bestman" I introduced them

"Hey man" Max offered his hand towards Danny who looked at it before looking at his face again

"What am I supposed to do with that?" Danny said coldly referring to the outstretched hand

"Normal people shake it" Max stated coyly

"Max" I said in a warning tone

"Relax Alex, I was only trying to be joke" he turned towards Danny again

"Nice to finally meet you man" Max offered a handshake which Danny ignored till I stopped on his feet

"Likewise" he turned to me "let's go, I want to have a word with you" he practically dragged me to the rest room

"What were you doing with him?" He asked angrily

"We were just dancing, stop acting jealous although I like it" I giggled

"I don't like the way he was touching you" I gasped

"Touching me? How come" I took his hands, placing one on my boob and the other on my ass "now that's touching. Stop being so paranoid" he chuckled

"I miss you" he said claiming my lips. We kissed a little bit longer before going to the party.

We danced, had a lot of fun, I on the other hand ate. I don't know why but I was so hungry, it was as if I hadn't eaten for days.

When we got home, Danny and I had a steamy shower before he went back to work. I put on my PJs and sat on the bed watching him type on his laptop.

"I'm bored Danny" I sighed. He didn't look up from his computer

"What do you want to do?" I got up and took his computer away from him "hey give that back" I ran away with the computer in my hands, laughing mischievously

"Promise me we'll go out" I said climbing the bed while raising the laptop above my head

"Fine we'll go, just give that back to me" I smiled triumphantly handing him the laptop but it slipped. Luckily, he caught it before it got to the ground. Phew
