ALEXA'S POV:
I felt like my world had crumbled into a million pieces. Danny was getting married? To Riley?. After I left the party, he has been calling me repeatedly but I couldn't answer the call.
I was lying on my bed in my pyjamas when the doorbell rang. Suzzy went to open the door, she decided to spend the night instead of leaving me in my condition. She's truly the best friend anyone could have.
"Alex, Daniel's here to see you" she said when she came into my room
"I don't want to talk to him" she sighed
"Listen, I may not know Daniel as much as you do but, I Know one thing for sure and that's the fact that he loves you very much. Give him a chance to explain.... okay" I nodded and went to the living room. She stayed behind in the room, giving us some privacy
"Sweetheart" he reached out to me as soon as he saw me but I raised my hands, stopping him from getting any closer
"Why didn't you tell me you're getting married to riley?" I felt like I couldn't breathe as I asked him. My eyes were already bloodshot red and puffy from crying
"I didn't tell you cause I didn't want you to feel this way and I didn't plan on marrying any other woman beside you so I didn't think it was important....I'm sorry" tears rolled down my eyes as I saw the sincerity in his eyes
"But Samurai said...." He came closer and held my hands
"I don't give a shit about what she told you. No one can choose how to live my life for me. You're the one I love and nothing will ever break us apart." I nodded my head and hugged him tightly, relieved that I wasn't losing him anytime soon "would you marry me Alexa?" My mouth fell open I wasn't expecting him to ask me that
"Are you being serious?" I stuttered
"I'm as serious as a heart attack baby. Will you marry me?" Words could no describe how happy I was. I didn't know I had been quiet until Suzzy shouted from the room
"Give him an answer already" Danny chuckled and I blushed. I wiped away the tears that fell from my eyes
"Yes, I'll marry you" he pumped his hands in the air jumping happily. Suzzy ran out of the room and came to hug us both.
"I'm so happy for you guys. I'm going to call your brother right now" she ran back into the room and I wrapped my arms around Danny's neck
"I love you" I stood on my tip toes and kissed the hell out of him. I was so happy about this although, I was a little worried, what about Samurai? She made it pretty clear that she was going to make my life miserable if I don't stay away from Daniel. Well, I guess that isn't important now as long as Daniel and I are happy, that's all that matters

Ethan finally came back and Suzzy told him the News. He was happy at first, then congratulated me and Daniel but he insisted on talking to him in private
"Oh come on, being the overprotective brother doesn't suit you babe" Suzzy said rolling her eyes
"Doesn't matter, it's still my role. Since you two are not going to excuse us, I might as well say what I want right here" he said glaring at the two of us as we giggled before, facing Daniel
"I'm all ears" Daniel was trying to act tough but it's obvious he was a bit intimidated by my brother after all, he's two years older than him
"Listen Daniel Clemonte, I don't know you that well but what I do know is that my sister loves you wholeheartedly but, if you ever hurt her, trust me I'll make sure I castrate you and cut you into tiny pieces before sending you to hell" Daniel gulped audibly, even I felt scared for him
"I promise I'll always keep your sister safe" Ethan looked at him hard before pulling him into a hug
"Welcome to the family" Suzzy and I squealed and we had a group hug.
Daniel and I went to his mansion to inform his family about our engagement. I just hope it doesn't turn into a war zone.
We went to the dinning room table and I greeted his dad, his stepmother, samurai and Anastasia. That reminds me, I have never actually spoken to Anastasia before, she's always quiet and keeps to herself. She's nothing like her mother or sister
I sat close to her with Daniel at my other side. She smiled at me and we made a little conversation.
"Father, mother I have something important to say." Everyone turned their attention to him
"What is it son, is everything ok at the company?" Danny took my hands before speaking up
"Well actually, Alexa and I have decided to get married. She already agreed to my proposal" Anastasia congratulated me and I smiled warmly at her. She was so sweet
"WHAT!!!" Mrs Clemonte yelled but Samurai held her hand and signalled her to calm down
"Is this true son?" Mr Clemonte asked and Danny nodded "well if that's the case, I give you two my permission. Please give me grandkids soon" I blushed at his statement
"Wasn't he supposed to marry your friends daughter Riley?" Mrs Clemonte asked clearly furious about the News.
"What's your problem Delilah? Why are you getting so worked up about this besides, we finally know she's from a good family so what's the big deal. I will not hear of this topic again, am I understood?" Mr Clemonte warned. His tone alone gave me the chills
"I'm happy for you Daniel. Alexandra dear, welcome to the family" Samurai said before excusing herself and leaving the table with her mother. I thought she hated me, why is she happy for me and not objecting to the idea
"Don't mind my mother or sister, but if I were you, I would keep my eyes open and watch my back" Anastasia whispered in my ear before getting up to help her father to his room.
"Glad that's over" Danny said getting up from his seat
"Danny are you sure everything will be alright?" I looked at him scared
"As long as we are together nothing can ever go wrong. Come let me show you our soon to be bedroom" I smiled as he led me upstairs to his room
SAMURAI'S POV:
I went into my room to get ready for bed when mom barged in angrily.
"Why didn't you say anything to object when Daniel said he was going to marry that loser. Don't you know what that means for us?" I sighed. Mother can be very slow at times
"What do you think mother? Do you really think I'll just let go of my right and let that witch come take over what's rightfully mine? Then you don't know me mother"
"What do you mean?" I rolled my eyes
"We should allow them get married. Haven't you heard of the saying keep your friends close and your enemies closer. It'll be easy to ruin their relationship when she's close by" she was thinking about it before shaking her head in realization
"You're right dear" I smiled as she finally catched on with the plan
"Yes mother, I'll make sure I take everything Daniel has right now. His title, his money and his love"
"But your father, he'll never allow you to do that to him" I laughed
"I'll take care of father. He's of no use anyway, just a pain in the ass. I'll get rid of him" oh you have no idea what plans I have for this family, I'm going to be the one to lead this family. Watch out little brother the game has just begun
