I woke up to the sound of a baby crying and suzzy's voice trying to calm her down. I smiled knowing that my baby is fine and that was all the strength I needed.
My eyes fluttered open and I saw Suzzy dancing around with my bundle of joy in her arms. I smiled as the baby stopped crying immediately she saw me awake
"Thank goodness you are awake boo, I was having a hard time convincing your baby that you were just sleeping" I smiled as I stretched my hand, reaching for the baby
"May I hold her?" Suzzy rolled her eyes
"Duh!! She's yours" she smiled placing my beautiful baby in my arms. I immediately fell in love with my baby, I couldn't contain the tears of joy that slid down my face
"Where's everyone else?" I asked
"I gave Philip a list to go and get you clothes and some items for the baby while Ethan is bringing Ash" she explained
"So you've been here all the time?" I asked surprised she left her baby to come be here with me
"Of course boo, remember before I had Ash, you were my first baby" I smiled at this
"I'm not a baby" I said pouting
"Not anymore, you're a mother now" we were laughing, watching my baby as she sucked her fingers when Ethan came with Ash
"How's my favorite sister doing?" He asked with a smile on his face
"I'm your only sister" I stated rolling my eyes
"Which is why you're my favorite" he went over to Suzzy and kissed her then, Suzzy carried Ash who was already stretching his hands reaching out for his mommy
"I'm so sorry about the hospital bills, I would like to contribute to lessen the burden" Ethan came and sat beside me after sharing a look with suzzy
"You will never be a burden to me and I'll never let you pay the bills, that's my responsibility but, um... The bills have been taken care of" I don't understand "by someone else" my heart skipped a beat, could it be who I think it is?
"Who is it?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper
"Unfortunately, the doctor won't tell us. He said it's an anonymous person" It has got to be him. Just in time, philip came in and Ethan carried my baby introducing himself as her uncle
"There's the latest mother" he said smiling at me
"Philip, isn't today a work day?" I raised my brows
"I wanted to stay and take care of you and the baby so I'm on leave" I smiled at the way he cares for me
"Thanks for being here, all of you" I said and Philip went over to Ethan as they both played with the baby
"So are you two, you know, like doing it?" Suzzy walked over to me and whispered
"Of course not" I gasped, my eyes buldged out of it's sockets
"He's cute though" she said winking at me when Philip said something
"Have you thought of a name for her?" I haven't really thought of that, I thought danny- I mean Daniel and I would decide. I looked at my baby and a name came to my mind
"Dawn" I muttered. She's the beginning and onset to my day, my morning sun plus it starts with 'D' just like Daniel's name
"That's beautiful boo, how do you come up with such beautiful names" I smiled.
Later on that day, the doctor came and discharged me. I was so relieved I would be able to go home and rest properly, hospitals suck
Ethan offered I come stay at their house for a few weeks till I'm strong again but I declined, I didn't want to bother them besides, I can take care of myself and my baby.
Right now, I'm sitting in Philips car as he drove Dawn and I home. By the time we got home, Dawn was sleeping peacefully in my arms. Philip help me take my bags and things inside, while I walked carefully with Dawn in my arms.
When we got inside, Philip led me to the room close to mine. I looked at him quizzically but he just smiled saying it was a surprise. I opened the door only to see the room beautifully decorated in purple for Dawn

It was so beautiful, I walked inside and inspected it. I was truly amazed and grateful
"This is the most beautiful thing anyone has ever done for me, thank you so much Philip" I smiled placing Dawn on the small bed
"You don't have to thank me Alexandra, you know there's nothing I wouldn't do for you" I smiled and went over to him, pulling him in for a friendly hug.
"I'm hungry" my stomach rumbled after pulling away from him, causing him to chuckle
"What would you like to eat?" I thought about it for a second
"Um...pasta" I don't know if there's a particular type of food new mothers are supposed to eat but this is exactly what in craving for right now.
Philip went to help me order the food since I don't have the groceries, he's truly a nice guy, a gem. I wish I would be able to give him a chance and love him like he deserves but, I just couldn't. I can't find it in my heart to think of him that way because Daniel is still the one I love.
Speaking of Daniel, I wonder if he has heard that I have put to bed. I wonder what he's reaction would be, would he come and see me? Is he going to want me back? I love him but I don't think I can forgive him for how he treated me. I glanced at my cute baby who was sleeping peacefully in her cradle, she looks kinda like me, with her dark brown almost black eyes but every other thing resembles Daniel. No doubt you could easily say she belongs to Daniel, even a blind man can see it. I just hope Daniel likes her
"What are you thinking about?" Philip asked from behind making me jump
"Philip" I yelled with my hands on my chest "my heart almost jumped out of my mouth" he snickered and led me out of the room so I wouldn't wake the baby
"Sorry, sorry" he finally said after laughing his ass off "I just came to tell you that the food is here" I rolled my eyes before following him to the living room
