Chapter 24

ALEXA'S POV:

Finally!!! My big day, the day Daniel and I will be getting United for ever. The beginning of our happy ever after.

I got ready in my white gown with the help of Suzzy and Anna.

"You look so beautiful Alexandra" Anna said, and i muttered thank you. Suzzy smiled at me, eyes moist with tears

"My baby's all grown up, I'm so happy for you boo" I wrapped my arms around her neck and pulled her into a warm hug when Anna muttered "I'm feeling left out" she said pouting

"Come here you" I pulled her in as we all had a group hug. We were interrupted by someone clearing their throat. We all pulled away to see Ethan standing at the door looking dashing in his black suit. Gosh my brother was so handsome.

Suzzy went over to him and kissed him causing Anna to blush while I faked coughing and they pulled away smiling sheepishly

"It's time sweetie" I went over to him and wrapped my hands around his neck "you're the most beautiful bride in the whole world, mom and dad would be so proud to see you right now." He said teary eyed

"What about Suzzy, she'll also make a lovely bride" I decided to pull his legs. I thought he would reply me with a smart comeback but all he did was blush.

"You should go, I'll meet you at the alter" Suzzy and Anna left us to go stand in front of the church

"Wait, would you walk me down the isle?" He looked surprised and then a tear slipped down his face

"I'd be honored" I smiled and wrapped my right hand in his arms as we started walking down the isle together. My entire body was shaking from anxiety and nervousness. I felt like I might fall anytime soon. "Deep breaths" Ethan whispered in my ear

I nodded my head and took a deep breath. The moment I saw Daniel at the alter, dressed in his black Armani suit, every ounce of fear and nervousness faded away. The smile on his face was enough to assure me that I'd be fine. Ethan handed me to Daniel and shook hands with him before going to stand behind him

"Dearly beloved.... " The pastor began and I zoned out staring into the eyes of the man I love with all my heart as he mouthed 'you look beautiful' to me. I blushed and held his hands tighter

"Do you Daniel luca Clemonte take miss Alexandra Norman to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health until death do you part?" I looked at him as he took a deep breath before nodding in approval

"Yes, I do" I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding. The pastor turned over to me

"Do you Alexandra Norman, take Daniel deluca Clemonte as your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for better or worse until death do you part?" He didn't have to ask me twice before I said yes a little too quickly, causing danny and the congregation to laugh

"By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride" Danny pulled me in for a long kiss, uniting us once and for all.

By the time we pulled away from each other, everyone was busy clapping and cheering. We went to the reception where everyone congratulated us.

"I'm so happy for you girl" Suzzy said squashing me in a tight hug.

"Thanks Suzzy, hopefully, it'll be yours soon" she smiled

"Damn right, your brother he's so slow if you ask me" we both giggled. Ethan came and asked her for a dance, Mr Clemonte.... I mean dad also came and asked me for a dance

"Congratulations dear, I'm sure you'll make my son very happy." I gave him a fatherly hug

"Thanks dad" after swaying to the beat for a while,

"I'm leaving him in your care Alexandra, there'll be people who will try to ruin him, promise me you will be there to protect and stand by him"

"I promise you dad" Daniel walked over to us

"Mind if I cut in? And dad, you need to get some rest" the old man smiled and handed my hands to him

"Hey husband" he smiled and wrapped both his hands around my waist

"Hey wife" he kissed me as we moved to the rhythm of the song, 'Breathless' by Shane ward

I was truly feeling breathless after pulling away from our kiss. I leaned and rested my head on Daniel's shoulders as we both swayed to the beautiful song. I noticed Anna and Roman dancing hand in hand, I made a reminder to tease her about it later

"Let's get out of here" Danny whispered in my ear seductively. I looked up so see his eyes filled with raw desire for me

"What about our guest? We can't just leave" I said looking around

"If you don't want me to take you right here and now, we better leave" my face felt hot instantly. We were about to leave the dance floor when mother came over to us

"Come Alexandra dear, I'll like to introduce you to some of my friends" she said pulling me away from Daniel.

"I'm sorry" I mouthed to him as she pulled me away. She introduced me to a lot of friends and family and by the end if the night, I was so exhausted

Oh I forgot to tell you that when I threw the bouquet today, as expected Suzzy caught it waving it in Ethan's face and yelling "time to stop being so slow" making everyone laugh. We arrived home so late, my entire body was sore from all angles, I felt like a truck ran me over.

I quickly went to the bathroom and took a hot steaming bath to regain my strength. Before Daniel came into our room, I had already fallen asleep

"Hey, are you sleeping" he whispered in my ear but I was far too gone to wake up now. He sighed before getting up to go take a shower. So much for our wedding night
