Chapter 29

ALEXA'S POV:

Daniel came back from the office still stressed out, so I decided to give him the good news. Maybe it'll lift his mood a bit.

"Hey" I said walking over to him and wrapped my arms around his neck

"Is everything ready for the funeral?" I rolled my eyes

"Danny guess what" I said excitedly

"Alexa, I'm....I'm not in the mood for this right now" my smile fell as I unwrapped my hands around his neck

"Sorry for disturbing you" I tried walking away but he grabbed my wrist

"I'm sorry. What is it you wanted to tell me?" I decided to joke around

"I'm pregnant" he's eyes grew wide while I was finding it difficult to hold my laugh

"How, I don't understand" I folded my hands

"Are you seriously asking me that? Have you forgotten the night you and I slept together. If you don't want this baby just say so" I tried walking away again but he stopped me as usual. I smiled internally

"I want it, I was just surprised that's all. I love you so much and I want to have babies with you" he said sincerely

"Really??" My eyes lit up as I grinned from ear to ear

"Yes" he smiled weakly. I couldn't hold it any longer then I started laughing hysterically "what's so funny?" Confusion etched on his face

"I'm not pregnant, I just wanted to pull your legs. Suzzy's is the one expecting and she will be getting married to my brother soon"

"Really?? You had me scared a bit, I'm so happy for them" he said smiling

"There, that's what I always want to see, your smile. I know you are hurting right now but please don't push me away Danny. I need my husband. Ever since we got married, we haven't.....you know and I miss you. I miss the feel of your skin on mine" I pouted. He held my face in his hand

"I'm really sorry I made you feel that way, I love you and it isn't fair the way I've been behaving with you" he pulled me into a hug

"Daniel" I called and he 'hmm' in reply
"I want you to make love to me" I blurted out before I could stop the words.

"Did I hear you right?" I closed my eyes in shame as I tried walking away "not so fast, I want you repeat what you said"

"No, it was a mistake, I don't even know what it's wrong with me. I just want to....ugh I don't know" I covered my face in embarrasment. For the first time today he chuckled

"Are you horny?" He whispered in my ear. I nodded my head, my hands still covering my face "you don't have to be shy about it" he pulled my hands from my face

"So are you going to?" I asked in anticipation

"Tonight I promise" the way he looked at me caused my heart to thump faster

"Okay" I blushed before running into the bathroom to try and calm on my beating heart

DELILAH'S POV:

Anastasia and I decided to call an emergency meeting involving Daniel and Roman since Samurai was away for two days

"Mom what is this meeting about? Samurai is not even present" Daniel asked

"Well mom has something to say to you with Samurai absent and as for you Roman, I know you have been working with Samurai" Anna explained. Roman looked shocked at first

Daniel and Roman looked at me in confusion and I spilled the truth. From Daniel's mother's death, Anthonio's death, everything. By the time I finished speaking, I was out of breathe while both guys looked at me in horror

"Y..you killed my mom?" Daniel asked, his voice broken as hot tears streamed down his face

"Words could not describe how sorry I am, and I won't be able to ask for your forgiveness because I know I don't deserve it but please Daniel, help me put a stop to Samurai's madness please am begging you" I got on my knees and he looked away. I know what you're thinking, me kneeling for my stepson but I don't have any respect anymore, I don't even deserve it. I'll do anything to right all the wrongs I have done

"Why didn't you tell me all this while" Anna said referring to Roman

"I don't know what I'll do if I lose you Anna, I'm sorry for hurting you" she went over to him and hugged him

"Let just get this over with" Daniel finally said after a long pause. I got up from the floor

We made a plan to expose Samurai for what she really is tommorow. We have planned to call a press conference and the police tommorow but, first I have to trick her into confessing the truth, so I could record it because I know she won't admit to committing such crimes.

I don't care if I end up jail as well, just as long as my family is safe

Everything was set for action so I went into her room this morning to try and get her to confess. I hid a Bluetooth in my dress before going inside

"What do you want?" She barked at me, getting her stuff ready for today. I must have forgotten to say this but today was the day she planned on taking all the properties from Daniel and Anastasia.

"I want you to stop that which you've planned for today" I said walking over to her. She stopped arranging her documents

"What are you? Stupid? Well for your information, I don't need your advice on anything" she hissed at me

"How much more damage are you going to do? You already killed your own father" I guess that must have ticked her off because the next thing she did was surprising but expected, she slapped me

"So?? What if I killed my father, what if I plan on taking the company from Daniel, what if I have stolen huge  amount from the company huh, what are you going to do about it? Don't forget that I'll ruin you in a heartbeat"

"You hit me?" I asked in disbelief

"And I'll do it again if you don't stop meddling in my affairs or else" she crossed her arms around her chest "I'll tell Daniel how you murdered his mother in cold blood" she turned to leave

"You won't get away with this" she smiled cheekily

"But I already have sweet mother" with that she left laughing menacingly. I quickly took out the Bluetooth to check if it recorded and luckily, it did

I quickly went to my room and called the rest that the job is done
