Nya was officially, officially fucked.

She glared once again into her rearview mirror, trying her best to make out the driver in the car behind her. She couldn't see whichever shit head was sitting behind the wheel. It was a dark grey SUV with tinted windows, and even better, no license plates.

Not shady at all

The SUV sped up suddenly, nearly rear-ending Nya before she swerved around another car on the 3 lane highway in the southern sector of Berlin. She sped up, going almost 100mph in an innercity 60 zone (of course, it was really kilometers and not miles, but at this point, it doesn't matter), and the SUV stayed right on her ass the entire way through.

"Fuck fuck fuck fuck." She cut across two lanes, cutting another car off, and took the nearest exit. There was a red stop light at the end of the ramp but it didn't stop her from taking an immediate right turn, praying no cars with a green light were coming at her side.

The risk almost didn't pay off as a car was indeed coming to T-bone her, but instead, it slowed down and swerved into the SUV's way.

"Yes!" This was the only break she was gonna get. She sped through the city, cutting through traffic and stoplights and medians. Foot hardly ever touching the brake peddle. She had to call Lucifer or Angel or William- oh wait, but Will is still in the middle east. "Dammit!"

She sped through the city's industrial sector, which was made of large warehouses and factories, almost all of which were empty since it was 2 hours past midnight. No one was here to see her sports car zooming through the city, not a soul hearing her gasping and whining in the front seat. No one was going to save her from the mystery car that had started tailing her an hour ago and the mystery man that was hellbent on making her car skid out. She kept taking turns in narrow streets, in alleyways and private property, till she stopped under an empty highway overpass and waited. Nya gasped with a rattling chest, watching the car mirrors as her hands figeted over the steering wheel waiting for that SUV to pull up behind her. The overpass cast a looming shadow across her car, across the trash and city light that brushed the dirty ground.

She reached for her phone. Logged in so she could call Lucifer, but with her eyes on the mirrors, she didn't notice the front end of the grey SUV which came speeding around the corner in front rather than behind. It came so fast it didn't have time to brake before the front ends of the cars collided entirely.

BOOM

Glass scatters everywhere when the cars connect and spin out together. It came more from the right, thank god, because if the car had hit from the left, Nya would most certainly be crushed where she sat in the driver's seat.

Instead, the cars melded together in glass and ripped metal and rubble, and Nya was thrown around the front seat like a rag doll. She had her seat belt on at least which saved her her life, as the other driver didn't have his, and thus was thrown through the SUV's windshield. Onto Nya's. Onto the steaming hood of her car like a puddle of debris and bones and blood. His chest was completely still, coated in the glass and steel of their collision, and he lay lifless in front of her now. His body sent a smearing crack though Nya's windsheild.

The world became incredibly quiet after that. Nya had blacked out for a moment and when she came too she screamed at the dead body sewn across the front of her car. Nevermind the scrapes and bruises and sprained wrist she was carrying, Nya could only think of two things at the moment.

1) Someone had stalked her from the lab and hunted her through the city, perhaps with the intent to kill her tonight...

And 2) Call Lucifer. Call Lucifer. Call Lucifer-
