Merlin's POV:

As i finished Arthur's and kept it aside i fell face down on my bed wiping away the little beads of sweat. I could feel my eyes pain a little but that was normal now. It had been nearly a week since Arthur's coronation and everyone has been on the edge lately, i don't know why. Today Arthur would be giving his speech as the new King. Arthur is pretty much the same actually, the only thing changed is his title and that servants and lords around the castle are more respectful to him now than when he was a prince. I put my brown colour jacket on and kind of stumble down the stairs where i can see that Gauis is working on something

"You are late Merlin," He told me giving me his infamous raised eyebrow

"I know, it has just been a really hectic week," I told him as i take a place on the table where Gauis had kept breakfast

Seriously, God knows what has in this porridge nonetheless i eat it every morning...well most of the mornings. As i am finishing my breakfast Gauis' question catches me off guard for a moment

"Have you had anymore of those dreams?" He asked quite casually

Not to get him more worried then he already is about them, i shake my head. Once i am done with my breakfast, i bid a goodbye to him and make my way to Arthur's chambers after taking his breakfast from the kitchens. As i went in i could see him already dressed in his clothes and now just fiddling with his sword  belt which was tangled which now he gave to me and started eating

"A bit late aren't we Merlin?" Arthur said

"Yeah, it was all your fault," I told him as i give him his tray "No one told you to accidentally to drop your sword in mud and then give me two days after to clean,"

"Idiot," He mumbles

"Clotpole,"

"Shut up," He said after he couldn't find anything quickly to fight with

I chuckled lightly as i could hear him sneer

I turned around to put the pillow back on the bed when suddenly i come face to face with Arthur. Both of us shocked at the other. My eyes went straight to Arthur's as his had done the same. Now that i was looking clearly at him, as the sun was shining at one side of his face made him look even more...handsome...God, Merlin your head would be on the chopping block if you say something like that. We stood there holding each other's gazes but before either of us could do something there was a knock at the door and both of us had jumped away from each other

"C-come in," Arthur said glancing at me then at the servant who walked in

"Sire, Sir Gwaine calls upon your presence for practice," The servant said

"Tell him I'll be there in a moment," Arthur said voice full of authority

The servant bowed before he left the chambers. It was just me and him alone in the room again and i could feel the tension level was high. I just took his dirty clothes and went to open the door when suddenly i accidentally bumped into someone, but before either of could fall we held on to each other's forearm. I looked up to see that it was Morgana

"God, i am so sorry Morgana," I told her getting the clothes i had dropped

"Merlin, it's quite alright," Morgana said smiling "Is Arthur there?"

"Oh, he is there alright," I say as i make my way out after bidding a good bye hoping that she didn't see the crimson red on my face

Morgana's POV:

Surely Merlin wishes that his bright red tomato face had gone by unnoticed but he was wrong. And there was no wrong in it that he has feeling for Arthur because any person could simply tell the sexual tension before them, Gwen had confronted first to me about his situation but i didn't much bother to it before but now that i do in the past few months i too have noticed the affections both the men had or each other

"Morgana, good morning," Arthur greeted putting on his boots

"Good morning, you majesty," I said hinting with sarcasm

He gives me playful glare before returning to his boots and when finally done he stands up adjusts his sword

"Good, that you are hear i wanna tell you something," He told me "Meet me in the throne room in an hour?"

"Sure," I replied but curious nonetheless "what happened? Is everything alright?"

"Everything is fine," he replied smirking a little "it's a surprise,"

He gave me smile and then walked out of the chambers probably heading for his training with the knights. I give a light chuckle as I to exit his chambers since I have some important errands to run with Gwen
