"Hid it under the floor board," Merlin replied as he got out of his chain male and Sylvia impressed at her mother "Do you recognise these books?"

"Indeed, i did notice it," Sylvia said tracing the spine of one "But these were destroyed when the Kingdom was attacked,"

"Looks like mother took them with her," Merlin answered as he sat on his bed

Merlin's POV:

I watched from the window in my chambers as some knights and guards were helping in injured druids who had escaped from the camp in time and they were being led into the infirmary and made sure to have a place to stay for the might within the castle. They had run from Camelot to come here, as magic is still outlawed there, they couldn't go to the castle or the guards would've arrested them on sight

Everyone is about the castle doing what they want though we check on Cora from time to time. Gwen spends much more time in the infirmary now since more people have started coming in and she keeps us updated on Cora as well. It's been two days and she hasn't shown any sign of waking up but nonetheless, her colour has returned and she looks much better than before. I had also taken the liberty to get Cora's chambers ready though I know not of girl's decorations, the girls took the responsibility of setting her chambers

All the knights train within themselves and Arthur has been rather secretive from yesterday

I caught him in his chambers looking at something in his hands and when he saw me come in he quickly hid his hand behind him and acted all innocent. Then this morning in saw him muttering with Morgana and Sylvia in a corner and it was like they were debating on something which by the looks of Arthur was losing heavily. I just wish it's not something serious that he is hiding from me. Even now I have no idea where he is, I asked the royal stable boy and he told me that Arthur and Sylvia took one horse and went to the woods side. If the problem with the druids hadn't occurred I would've followed them which I know is wrong but like still

"What are you thinking, mate?" Gwaine's voice breaks me from my thoughts

"Have you noticed Arthur lately?" I blurted it out turning to him

"Nothing much," Gwiane said turning his gaze away from me and that made me suspicious as I could've sworn he smirked for a moment

"Nothing much eh?" I asked eyeing him

"Princess doesn't tell me anything," Gwaine shrugged "Right I have to go,"

I looked at him confused, where does he have to go in such a hurry?

I just ignore him as Conroy sends a servant to me saying that he requires my presence. I just hope that it's good news about Cora. I make my way towards the infirmary and open the doors to find Conroy making Cora drink something from a goblet

"Cora!" I exclaimed as her eyes meets mine

"Emyrs," She sets the goblet down

I go and first thing I do is hug her and thank the gods

"How are you feeling?" I asked her rubbing her back and then checking her forehead for a fever and feel relieved when there isn't

"Better," she says " Miss Gwen helped me to dress look,"

She jumps off the cot and twirled around showing her dark blue dress which reached till her knees

"Its very beautiful, Cora," I told her smiling and taking her in my arms again setting her on my lap and then turning to Conroy "Is she fine now? What about her wound?"
