Arthur raised a little just to get the duvet quilt on both of them and then wrapping his hands again around Merlin

"I love you, Arthur." Merlin whispered

"I love you too." Arthur smiled as he placed a kiss on Merlin's forehead

3rd Person POV:

It was around early morning, birds chirping outside as the specks of sunlight fell on the bed of two said kings who were wrapped in each other and the quilt. Arthur was already awake when Merlin stirred in his sleep, looking out the window. Merlin rubbed his eyes, adjusting to the sudden light intensity

"Good morning," Arthur said

But before Merlin could answer, Arthur placed a kiss on his husband's love smiling as he pulled away. Merlin smiled as he saw Arthur's giddy face first thing in the morning. Both forgetting about any and all problems. The events of last night came rushing to Merlin's head and his face instantly turned red

"Thinking about something are we?" Arthur smirked knowing very well what was going on in the warlock's head

"Shut up, Arthur." Merlin said hitting Arthur with the pillow hiding his face in the other one

"Hey, thats my job." Arthur whined taking the pillow and hitting Merlin in return "Come on, get up,"

"I don't want to," Merlin whined

"Are you seriously doing this?" Arthur fake gasped "For the first time you don't wanna get out of bed,"

"There is a first thing for everything," Merlin said sitting up "Why do we have to get up anyway?"

"We have breakfast with everyone today," Arthur said

Merlin groaned as let him self fall back on the bed. Arthur chuckled finally knowing how Merlin use to feel when he use to do this. Once they were all cleaned up and dressed and looked presentable, they grabbed their crowns and were on their way to the dining room

"Finally!" Gwaine exclaimed as the kings made their way in "We thought you would be in bed all day,"

"It was all him," Elyan sighed "We were just hungry,"

The two kings rolled their eyes as they sat on their places at the table with their friends and family surrounding them. They were talking as Lancelot and Gwen also joined them and now that everyone was here, they could begin with their food which was a great need for Gwaie at the moment 

"So, i noticed that a set of two couples were missing from the throne room yesterday after their wedding?" Gwaine said glancing at the two married couple 

"We were tired," Merlin said simply taking a sip of water ignoring the thoughts in his heads 

Gwaine looked at Merlin and then smirked at the sight he had seen. A purplish spot was their on Merlin's collarbone which was exposed from his jacket. He nudged Percival beside him and soon the whole table had known what was happening 

"I could've gone my whole life knowing this," Sylvia whined "Merlin, you could've asked for make up,"

"uh...Arthur also needed it," Morgana chuckled
