Victoria p.o.v :

I got a little startled hearing him apologize. I honestly didn't expect it . well, it felt good hearing it .

" hey "

I turned to see William's standing in front of me .

" h-hey " i said startled a bit , again .

There was this awkward silence, we stared at each other .

" thanks "

William broke the silence .

I looked at him surprised. I didn't expect him to thank me , he was staring at me with calm expression yet admiring eyes .

" ah, no problem! " i said snapping out of my thoughts.

And once again the awkward silence took over , before he spoke again " you know those rumours won't last forever"

Wait is he trying to comfort me?

" so don't give it a mind , okay " he continued.

" oh...yeah , i won't " i said with a little smile . More then the rumours i'm more concerned with Jake now ...

I spaced in my thoughts a little when i noticed William's hand moving towards me.

" you've got hair..." he said reaching for the piece of hair on the side of my cheek and moving it behind my ear .

I looked up at him , he was staring at me deeply ...

He looked at me in way that would make any girl heart skip ...

He putted his hand on my cheek and took a few steps towards me .

But at that moment ; out of the blue , i remembered Jack's face the night he visited me and the way he smiled at me ...

" I'm sorry, i've to go " I moved his hand away .

" Victoria..."

It's weird ...did my name always sounded this tender from his lips? Maybe because i got used to always only hear the insults and ' fat ' from him .

I ignored him calling me and took a few steps away .

" do you hate me that much to not even give me a chance? "  he said behind me in a voice that is somewhat broken .

I never thought there will be a day, where i hear William's voice broken.

" I don't know honestly. If i hate you or not " i said then slowly turned

" i should but i don't know " i said opening my arms up and moving them down .

" if i hated you, i wouldn't helped you. So i probably don't " i added.

" you're confusing me now " he said with side smile , it's like he found what i said ironic. I don't blame him even i'm confused.

" i can't give you a chance , especially with him in my life " i said straightforwardly.

His expression darken as he growled and clenched his fist . He putted his hand on his hair , pulling it backwards .

" you fallen for him already? " he said with irritated look on his face, gritting his teeth a bit .

I don't know . Either way he has nothing to do with this .

I looked at him and sighed " we being together is impossible, William . We're from two different worlds "

" I'm heading out " i said turning around.

I've felt arms around holding me ...
