Heartbroken- Joshua Bassett

Author's notes- So I started watching the High School Musical: the musical series and fell in love with the characters especially Ricky. I decided to imagine him since there is not much out there.

I woke up to Josh not in bed with me, but a note in his space instead. It said in his somewhat decent handwriting, ' Went to the set, come when you feel like it.' signed Josh in some simple, bur clean cursive. I smiled at it, because it's the little things that make me smile. I finally put the note down after just staring at it for a good solid minute. I sat up on Josh's bed that he has in his trailer while filming. I then proceeded to grab my phone and check my media for anything important I missed while sleeping. I stayed in his bed for a while since it smelled like him and it was really warm.

'Skip about hour later'

I decided to get up and get dressed in some black jeans with a white crop top. I grabbed my jean jacket to go over my shirt. I then walked to the bathroom to put my hair into a lazy, but messy bun. I then grabbed my toothbrush and made my teeth clean. I walked out of the bathroom to put on my red converses, so that I could leave and head to grab something to eat before stopping at the set to see my baby act.

'Skip walk/eating'

After I was done eating I went and walked to the set and when I got to the set I walked around to find him. While I was also trying to avoid the cameras and ruining the shots. Once I found him, he was doing a scene with Olivia. I always get jealous when he is with her, but I know they would never date since she was younger than him. If you wanted to know she is sixteen where Josh is nineteen. I am one year younger than Josh so that would make me eighteen. ( or however old you are) Anyway the directors never really cared if I watched the show getting filmed cause they know that I would never say anything about it. While watching the show being filmed, Josh's character Ricky tell's Nini Olivia's character that he loves her. I did not mind because I knew it was just acting, but what happened next looked so real that you could hear my heart just break into a bunch of little tiny pieces.I could feel tears rolling down my cheeks. When the director yells cut Josh saw me and his smile on his face turned into a frown. He then walked up to me and said

" Hey Y/N, what's wrong?"

I just looked at him not saying anything for a while until I said " Do you like Liv at all?" He gave me a really confused look until he started laughing at what I said. I then gave him a confused look because he was just laughing at my question I asked him. He then calmed down from laughing and said " No I have no interest in dating Olivia or any feelings toward her. We just kissed for the scene because that's what it says in the script." He answered, I now felt really stupid cause I probably look like an idiot for crying over that. Josh could tell I was feeling a bit selfish so he wrapped his arms around my waist and proceeded to give me a long hug which I thought I did not need, But ended up needing it. Then he was about to pull away, but I hugged him tighter to make him stay in the hug longer.

'Skip when we let go'

Josh had to go film one last part of this show before we could head back to his traitor to cuddle and watch some movies. Man, I think I am in love with this little bean.

Ugh I love this one, it is so freaking good and I hope you like it as much as I do.
