Lay Off the Paint Chips: Jesus Don't Want Me For A Sunbeam

Hell week na ngayon para sa iba kaso heto ako, nag-post ng isang basurang update na naglalaman ng basurang nakalkal ko sa computer. (Mga isinulat noong mga panahong dapat ginagamit sa pag-aaral.) I need to get my priorities straight.

1. Look, gusto kong mag-aral but my hormones are failing to comply. Bakit masarap mag-dramarama tuwing may EXAM?!? I am a "damn flaw," or maybe a fatal error. Huhwhat. It's nice to be distracted from the harsh reality that is life sometimes.

In addition to that, oras nanaman para sa mga research paper and I am not a fan. See, I already have a lot on my hands. Paano ko pa isisingit 'yang research chenes na 'yan? Mabuti sana kung 'yan lang ang pinagtutuunan ng pansin sa subject.

Kaso hindi. At paano naman ang lab rats... este, participants? (Walang nagmamahal sa akin.) It is not a question of "Will everybody be willing to participate?" but "Will anybody be freakin' willing to participate?"... maybe, unless... you give them an incentive to do so. As in, isang pirasong Cloud 9.

"Do you have the time... to listen to me whine?" Perhaps not.

2. Ngayon, naniniwala na ako sa magical power of cordial relations. In-expect kong magmimistula akong forever jaded asshole na itinadhanang maging hikikomori, pero there's always that glimmer of hope... never give up, kids. You can go on and on about how these kids are false and fleeting, but I have my tinfoil hat on. I can't hear you!

3. Come on, how hard is it to change one variable in your system? The "equality" advocacy isn't working and it's sad to know that people are driven into complying*. Maybe it's time for us to pour the Kool-Aid down the drain-three are mediocre, but thirty gives off a bit more of an impact.

Every time you say "Tangina naman, marami pang mas malalim na problemang kailangang asikasuhin kumpara dyan" and "Lintek, pwede ba problemahin muna ninyo ang China," you are actively reinforcing notions that should have died a long time ago, along with the dodo and apartheid (which was also overdue, mind you).

* Oh, right... it's in the law. Freaking jibbers. Or rather, walang jurisdiction.
