Amelie's POV

"Aren't you a little sad for a starry night?" sabi ki Arc. Nanatili akong tahimik "You could come with me you know" tumingin lang ako sa gilid at di siya pinansin. Wala ako sa mood makipag bakbakan. It doesn't matter anyway, I don't have to strive to be different.

Habang nasa daan kami ay may sumalubong na dalawang sasakyan. Bumaba kami at pumunta sa isa, si Arc naman dun sa isa.

"Guess this will be goodbye, let's try not to kill each other in the competition" Arc said to Titus. Diritso lang akong sumakay sa sasakyan, sumunod rin yung tatlo, dun ko napagtanto na si Khalil pala yung nag da-drive.

"Good job guys" Khalil. I mentally rolled my eyes.

Pumunta kami sa gate papuntang Light Clan. The car we're riding is extremely fast kaya madali lang kaming naka punta dun.

CLAN TERMINAL

Yan yung nakalagay sa pinuntahan namin. Maraming aircrafts dito. May mga designated terminals, may ibang naka label sa ibang planeta meron rin sa Light Clan. Mayron ring nakalagay na 'Space Station', sa pag kaka alam ko terminal rin yun pero para yun sa mga planetang malayo na dito.

"Alyanna!" rinig kong sigaw ng isang babae na naghihintay sa terminal na may Space Station. It was Lillian, kumaway si Alyanna at tumakbo papunta sa kanya. I just crossed my arms to lessen the cold. 

"Wear this" biglang sabi ni Titus habang ino-offer ang jacket niya. Tiningnan ko lang to at naglakad na papunta kina Alyanna. 

"Mabuti naman at nadala niyo yan" pabulong na sabi ni Shella. I wonder what she's doing here. "I'm here kasi iniba ang mechanics" mataray niyang sabi. Oh right, she can read minds. 

"It's now minimum of 5 and maximum of 10"

"How long is this competition?" ako

"1 week, it starts tomorrow" Titus.

"Can I go home first?" natahimik sila "To take my stuff" I can see the annoyance on some of them.

"Okay. We have a private aircraft anyway, it shouldn't be a prolem" Titus said. 

Pumasok na kami sa aircraft. Malaki naman ito, everyone has their big seats, katulad ito ng upoan sa private class. 

Sinabi na ni Titus sa magmamaneho na pupunta muna kami sa amin then didiritso na sa space station, tinawagan niya rin si Vanessa at Charles para ipalaam. Tulala lang akong nakatingin sa bintana throughout the journey. Di naman matagal ng makarating na kami sa mansion. 

Titus insisted na sasamahan niya ako but I declined. 

Pagpasok ko ay dumiritso ako sa kwarto at nag impake. Funny, I don't feel anything. 

"Amelie?" natigilan ako ng marinig ko ang tinig ni Marie. I smiled before I faced her.

"Marie!"

"Bumalik ka na?"

"Oo eh, sasama kasi ako sa competition" she let out an awkward nod "Ikaw ha di mo sinabi sa'kin na may asawa kana pala" nagulat siya

"I--I just thought it wouldn't be necessary"

"Anong hindi necessary dun? Pano pag umalis ka nalang o diba--" napatingin siya sa'kin "Tas pano pag nabuntis ka edi magugulat nalang ako diba? Hay basta" hinawakan ko ang kamay niya "Wag--wag mong pigilan ang kasiyahan mo dahil lang sa'kin ha? Mabuti ng kahit isa man lang sa atin a totoong masaya" I said and smiled trying my best to not cry. I want to tell her everything, I want to tell her how hurt I am, but I can't, Amelie won't let me. 

Pagkatapos kong magpa alam sa kanya bumaba ako papunta sa office ni Vanessa. I found her drinking again. 

"Ma" lumingon siya sa'kin. 

"Anak! Oh my sweet Amelie!" sabi niya sabay takbo papunta sa'kin at niyakap ako "I'm so glad you decided to come with them! I knew you'd come back to your senses. Nakapag impake ka na ba?"

"Yes"

"Oh you need to bring more clothes" dinala niya ako sa kwarto niya, may nakita akong mga paper bags "I immediately ordered your designer to pick you these stuff" sabi niya sabay pakita ng mga lingerie.

"What?"

"Let me tell you a secret my dear child. Most men has a weakness on women's body, that's how I tricked your dad" she whispered then laughed "You have my good genes dear, o, take these with you and show that peasant that you're better" sabi niya then forecebly gave me the bags

"N--no! what are you doing?"

"Why, I'm helping you dear. Kailangan mong pakasalan si Titus. Dapat ikaw ang maging reyna, not that girl with a peasant blood" hinawakan niya ang magkabilang braso ko "You need to promise mommy, okay? Do this for me okay? You need or else that girl will end up stealing everything from you like her mother did to me" humigpit ang pagkahawak niya sa'kin

"Aray! Let go of me!" kumawalas ako "Are you mad? How would you do that to your daughter? Gusto mo talaga akong magmukhang prostitute para sa'yo? What kind of a mother are you?"

"A mother who would do everything!"

"What have you done?!" I finally shouted "Huh? You have done nothing for me, all you did was for yourself!" tears came gushing down my eyes

"Don't talk to me like! You ungrateful brat! I did everything to make sure you'll live a comfortable life! I made sure to get rid of my competitions for you! I made myself a criminal for your future's sake! I did it to Amanda, and I did it to her child for you!"

"You're sick! So ikaw pala ang may pakana dun sa pagkidnapp kay Lillian?!"

"Yes! Are you ashamed now?! Oh don't play clean Amelie you've done it too! And I did those things for you, in fact you should be grateful! I am made a fool just for you!"

"Grateful? For making me suffer? Alam mo bang ako ang inakusahan nila nun ha? And what? You're made a fool? Do you even know what I go through? Kahit anong gawin ko everyone view me as a villain and unlike you I can't hide it with fake smiles and grace so don't tell me I made you look like something you did to yourself!"

"AMELIE! VANESSA" Sigaw ni Charles na kakapasok lang at kasama si Titus. Inawat ni Charles si Vanessa habang si Titus naman hinawakan ako at pinapalabas

"YOU'VE DONE NOTHING FOR ME! YOU USED ME! YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A SELFISH WITCH! MABULOK KA SANA SA KULONGAN!" I screamed before ako tuloyang napalabas ni Titus. Right after the door shut agad ako napa upo at umiyak. 

Naginginig na ako sa galit, it seemed impossible for these tears to stop. 

"Hey, can you stand?" naramdaman ko ang himas ni Titus. Tinulongan niya akong tumayo. I exhaled deeply ng magkaharap na kami

"I'm fine" I said.

*Hug*

I was caught off guard when he suddenly hugged me. 

"No you're not" I let the tears fall as I hugged him back.

"I hate her" I said, almost whispering 

"Hmm" Titus said habang hinihimas himas ang buhok ko

I cried in his arms for a solid 2 minutes, I thought it would last for about 5 minutes but

"Lillian?" Titus said. Napalingon ako sa pinto and saw Lillian with a shocked look on her face.
