When I woke up Elsie was already gone with all her stuff too, I checked my phone.

I smiled, answering her. Telling her it was "no problem" and to "let me know" about the next time she wants to come over.
I stood up out of my bed, heading downstairs to fix myself some breakfast. I set my eggs on the pan per usual and went to fiddle with my bracelet while I waited. But, it wasn't there. I checked my other wrist but there was nothing attached to my arm.
I quickly sped upstairs to check my nightstand, where I last left it, I think. Blank. Empty. In my drawers? Nope.
