The rain finally stopped the next day but inside the room Nandini moaned in pain. She closed her eyes then heaved a sigh. Today she woke up late and Manik was not there beside her. Last night she couldn't sleep a wink. She stretched her hands and grabbed the quilt to cover her body.
Ageratina walked in with a bowl of water. Seeing Nandini's condition she couldn't help but blush.
"Are you fine my lady?"
"No" Nandini turned her head "fetch me the Blue bottle from the drawer"
Ageratina nodded and placed the bowl on side table before looking for the bottle. Once she found she handed it to Nandini.
Nandini felt her body sore, she never thought her husband will be this wild in bed and will stay active almost whole night. He didn't slept and also didn't let her sleep too. It was their first time but it happened over and over again that she almost forgot to count.
And now she couldn't move her body. It felt like drained all her energy from her body.
"How come that man stayed so active all night?" She mumbled before taking a pill from the bottle.
Ageratina heard her and almost laughed out. She was standing on the door side in the early morning when he saw Manik walked out wearing a black rob. He even instructed her to make some warm soup once Nandini wake up and take care of her. Ageratina was confused at first but when she saw Nandini's condition she couldn't help but surprised and finally understood why his majesty specially instructed her.
On the other hand Nandini felt better after taking the pill. The pain in her body lessened and and the sourness somehow started to fade. Though it can't give full cure treatment but the pill can give her some relief from the current position.
"I have brewed some hot soup my lady. Would you like to drink it?" Ageratina asked.
"Hot soup?" Nandini turned her head with confusion.
Ageratina smiled "yes, his majesty has ordered to let you have some hot soup after you wake up. He said it will nourish your body"
Nandini was surprised when she heard it. After the long night she almost passed out and couldn't even remember when she fell asleep. It was until when she woke up the next day. She shook her head but a warm feeling suddenly rushed in her heart.
"Since his majesty said it then bring it" she replied slowly. Besides since he wanted her to drink some soup then she don't find it anything weird and on the other hand she also needed to care for her body which really needed some food to eat.
"Where is his majesty?"
"He went early for the court. He said not to wake you up until you wake up by yourself. He also said that the court matters needed his attention so he need to visit fast"
Nandini sighed and looked towards window. Though the rain has stopped but the road must be full of water and mostly slippery. Most of the carriages has the possibility of slipping by accident and this made her heart restless. Patchal's road system is different from capital. Capital road are high and well made. Smooth and good for journey in any situation but Patchal has not made any improvement in road system at all which is putting it in high risk. But these court matter is also important, it is their main target and couldn't delay it. But hoe can she think so rationally without attaching any emotion when the fear crawling inside her heart?
"How's the road system? Is there any water blockage because of last night pour?" Nandini asked again.
"I heard the servants who went to bring vegetables said the water is still there but it won't affect the carriages. Because of the heavy pour last night the water lever has raised 3 inch" Ageratina informed.
