Thanatos was really bad at keeping promises.

He had a reason for never swearing on the Styx.

It wasn't that he was evil. At least, not most times.

He was just worried about his friend and, well, his friendship was a little more important to him than the fate of a young godling.

So Jeongin planned to kidnap Persephone.

And bring her to his friend.

To bring happiness to him.

A few days later, said godling woke up in a dark, cold room.

Remembered to be on a green field a second ago, looking after the flowers there, letting grow new ones, unknown species, and then - everything black.

Felt a strange coldness cling to the stones.

Tried to move.

The sound of iron chains against stone echoed through the chill air.

'Hello?'

No answer.

No one was there.

'Hello?!', louder this time.

The call echoed away without any reaction.

'Help me!'

That, too, stayed unanswered.

It was just cold stone, a young god and iron chains in this room.

Sharp, unyielding iron chains, who didn't budge an inch no matter how hard and desperate one pulled.

The darkness and chilly temperature and general... dullness of this place was downright sickening.

'Please?'

The sound of iron chains being pulled taunt.

'Anyone?'

The voice quieted.

Whispered:

'Please. Help me. I... I don't want to be here...'
