I woke up to an empty room, however, by the sounds coming from the living room everybody was up so I didn't even bother to go out there. Instead I just went ahead and took my shower and got dressed for the day because knowing Dre, he probably already had the kids dressed. Just as I finished my hair, with my robe still on I could hear a female voice
I left the room and went into the living room seeing that it was emoni. She sat on one chair by herself while Gigi stood in the middle of the living room watching tv and Dre sat on the other one with gio sitting up under him.
Dre held a bowl of cereal in his hands and as he lifted up the spoon to eat some cereal gio stopped him, wanting to eat it instead. Dre fed gio the cereal and just as he scooped another spoonful, Gigi made her way over to him
"Daddy can I have some more?"
He fed her the spoonful he scooped up and shook his head while she danced her way back over to the tv
"That's why I don't want kids" emoni told Dre
"All three of y'all eating from the same bowl?" I asked, twisting my lip up. All of them looked at me
"Only one person supposed to be eating from this bowl" Dre told me
"Good morning mommy" Gigi greeted me
"Good morning"
"Actually two people eating from the same bowl cause Dre ain got a chance to eat nothing out of that bowl" emoni laughed
"That's what he get for having kids"
"You better go and get dressed. Yo momma told me you better not be late today."
"Why would I be late? It's thanksgiving"
"You late for everything else"
"True... but this is ME we talkin bout. I might be late for anything else.. parties, meet ups... maybe even my own wedding" Once I said something about the wedding Dre looked at me funny "I'm being sarcastic.. but come on now. ME late to THANKSGIVING? That's a definite no"
"Hungry ass" I heard Dre mutter so I tried to hit him. Unfortunately he caught my hand and pulled me down closer to him
"Don't be manhandling me like that" I told him before looking at gio "you not gone step for mommy"
"I'll step for you mommy" Gigi said with a smile
"Bet, you gonna beat daddy up for me?"
When I said that she looked at me like I told her to kill the man. Immediately she shook her head and her eyes went over to Dre then back over to me
"I can't beat daddy up"
"Why not?"
"Cause I love him... and he WAYYY bigger than me"
Dre gave me a cocky grin
"Whatever. Forget you and yo kids. Make sure you stay up under yo daddy like that all day too" I told gio as well. He just laughed at me before looking at the tv
"Ana you done getting dressed?" Emoni asked
"I mean I gotta put my clothes on b-" before I could finish what I was saying she got up, grabbed my by my hand and drug me down the hall to my room, closing the door behind her
"Well damn.." was all I could say. She then started to pace the room like she was in trouble and needed advice so I sat on the bed sighing
"What did you do emoni?"
