Since Ana was up late last night making sure everything was straight for Gigi party today I was letting her sleep in as long as she could cause I knew she was tired.
Gigi stayed the night at my momma's house with emoni for whatever reason emoni wouldn't tell me so it was just me and twin. He woke up early this morning for no reason so I got him before he could wake his momma up
"This is the fun part of having babies. Having to cook the food just to turn around and cook it back off so it's not too hot. Then I gotta turn around and cut it up into bite size pieces just for you to barely eat it" I sarcastically said to gio while I cut his pancake up and he sat on the counter watching
When I finished I grabbed both him and the plate before going to the living room. I sat him on the couch with his plate and cup before grabbing my food and went to sit down with him
Gio wasted no time eating while I grabbed the remote and turned on the tv, turning it straight to boondocks
When the theme song started playing Gio already knew what it was and he started smiling while talking to himself
"Yeah yo momma gone try to beat my ass" I told him "but she'll be alright"
We sat and ate, minding our business until somebody knocked on the door. I looked over at gio, who was looking at me now
"You gone get that?" I asked
He shook his head while grabbing another piece of pancake and ate it with his focus back on the tv
"These kids of mine. Spoiled as hell" I muttered, getting up and went to answer it
As soon as I opened the door I saw Gigi standing there holding a big ass bag.
"Hi daddy" she spoke before just walking in past me. Emoni walked up to the door with a duffel bag
"I'm getting dressed for her party over here. Ion feel like driving back home" she told me while walking in too
I closed the door "Good morning to you too nigga"
Emoni went and sat on the couch beside gio.
"Ouu you cooked sausage" she grabbed mine off my plate and gio just stared at her while she ate it
He continued to stare at her while she chewed and once she realized it she cocked her head to the side looking back at him
"I can eat my brother food. You ain gotta look at me like that"
Gio then cocked his head to the side just like her before laughing in her face
"You acting like yo daddy Gio. I thought you was better than that"
"What you did with my baby last night? And why she went straight to her room?" I asked emoni
"Oh!" She looked at me "well for one, I wanted to do something for my niece birthday where it was just me and her now that she's older so I took her to wherever she wanted to go and brought her whatever she wanted. Guess what she chose over clothes, toys and shoes.."
"Food?"
"Books" emoni corrected me
I rose my eyebrow before nodding "I ain mad at it at all. She starting to like reading."
"I know but it just surprised me cause usually kids want toys and shit. When I took her into the bookstore you should've seen how happy she was"
"How many books she got?"
