To do so is the strongest way to survive
The pain and the sadness, the loneliness too
Smile through the pain and you'll make it through
The strength of your spirit will keep you afloat
As you bravely rise above the darkness and the hurt
The courage you show will be your saving grace
Your smile will light the way and bring you peace
The courage you mustered will bring you so far
And it will be your strength to get you through the hard
The pain and the sadness may leave a mark
