Pastries and salads fill the table.
The smell of roast meat and veggies
wafts around the house
and I hum softly.My arms ache
from the hours spent
dusting and hoovering
and I'm stuck betweenhappiness and disappointment.
I couldn't go to Orsai's house today.
The thought makes me angry.
