The biscuits rattle slightly in my lunchbox and I realize with a start that my hands are shaking.

"Mei?"
She turns to me with wide eyes.
Turn back! Run away!
"Harmony?"
I place my box on the table, and bow my head.
"I'm- I don't, I'm really sorry
and I made biscuits and I just-
....can we be friends again?"
Mei looks panicked,
her eyes widening as she looks at me.
"Of course, but... I'm also friends with Kiya, do you want to be her friend too?"
I turn to look at Kiya. And for the first time, I see her. Properly. For the person she is. Instead of the person I'd made her up to be.
"Yes. I would."
A.N. Things are still as hectic as ever but thankfully, I've found some time to write more and more! I honestly thought I'd finish writing StM before it reached 10K, but once again I've been proven wrong (ʘᗩʘ')
We've had two Q+As already, would you like another one for 10K or would you all prefer it if I did something different? Since you've already given me such a huge gift by reading StM, I'd love to do something in return~

I'm expecting to complete StM in around a month or so and I'm really excited! If I finish this, it will mean I've actually completed writing a book. My horrible track record of leaving stories half-finished will be no more (ʃƪ¬‿¬)
