Erika POV

The next I noticed Amunta chatting with Elijah, she had to be careful considering her genes. It always crossed my mind if she'd be bound to one mate like her father. A man whom I had repressed any memory of for a very long time. I felt arms wrap around me, a sigh escaping me.

"Hey beautiful." His lips trailed along my neck as I turned around on the balcony and looked into his chocolate hues. "You've got something on your mind... I know that look Rika."

"Hence why I love you so very much." I tugged off his glasses to see his fused hues, a smirk coming to my lips. "I like you as a hybrid... It suits you my love." He pushed me against the balcony, pressing his lips to mine.

"Mmm well it also means we could possible... You know... Have our own kids."

"I know... It's been on my mind ever since, but obviously right now wouldn't be opportune."

"Speaking of kids... Whose Aumnta's father?" Here was the topic I tried so well to avoid. A man whom time itself revolved around. He wasn't of this world, in fact he was a God of sorts. A man whom now if I saw I would try to kill out of saddness and betrayal.

"A man named Petar... He was... A God."

"A God?"

" Yes, they exist. He was immortal before I even knew the term. He could protect me from my father at times. He claimed I was his soul mate... Obviously you see that isn't the case. He left me with a child and nothing else... Besides heart break and anger. He went back to his realm. He's the reason I have the last name Clark. He wanted to stay with me originally, but like most men he leaves." James nodded slowly before looking to Amunta.

"She's like you."

"She's a warrior... I fear she'll get her father's genes constantly. She'll be bound to a mate. As gods and goddesses you can only have one mate in your life time. Her father could only have one child being the most powerful."

"And he had it with you?"

"Funny right? You would have thought he would have stayed. I'm glad he didn't though. I wouldn't have met you had he stayed." A smirk crossed my lips before a placed a kiss to his lips. Happiness is short lived around here of course. I turned around to the sound of Caroline yelling for Klaus. A tall man walking into the quarter. "Amunta Sila! Get back!" I blurred down, standing in front of his path. Dare I say I felt fear. His eyes blue and hair dark like the night.

"Mother?"

"Sila... Stay back..."

"I can't meet my granddaughter?"

"Over my dead body you will come near my children and their family." He smirked as he walked closer, my fangs lengthened just as his. " You don't have the person you need Rah... Mother is dead."

"I always knew she was weak like you, but I have another fit for the task of burrying you Amunet..." I made the mistake of moving first, the air knocked from my body as I hit the wall. "You don't have anyone here that can possible save you!" Klaus attacked, yet was tossed onto the roof in a swift movement. Rah's hand wrapped around my neck, the smirk never leaving his face as his hand reached into my chest. My heart in his hands. "I would kill you now... For sport... But what would be the fun..." I hit the floor, my body was exhausted as I closed my eyes. All I could hear was Davina and Bonnie scream before silence filled the quarter.

"Rika! Rika!" James shouted shaking me, I could barely open my eyes.

" We don't stand a chance..." He help me to stand as I glanced around. Rah in the matter of minutes had harmed everyone in the room. Klaus was removing a stake from his shoulder, Caroline was bleeding, James was still healing. Amunta was tending to Elijah with her blood. Her eyes locked onto my stare before I looked away. "I'm only saying this because I have no other option... But if by some miracle you can reach your father... We need his help... Otherwise by the end of this week none of us will be alive." She looked to Elijah before her and I once again caught each other in a stare.

"I'll see what I can do..." We all wandered inside, Amunta grabbed my arm and snatched me aside. "I need you to protect Elijah while I'm gone..."

"He's your mate isn't he?" My jaw tensed before I looked away.

"It's too dangerous to have one mate Sila..."

"Don't call me that... You've haven't been there like father has..."

"I'm sorry you died... I didn't have the power to save you." I blinked back tears before looking into her hues. "You were my sanity back then Amunta... After I lost your father and you I became this heartless monster... Thank God you turned out like your father and not me... You might be able to be saved from this life." I walked away from her and headed back outside from the crowd, taking a deep breath. The anger coursed through me like wild fire. My mind couldn't help but drift back into the past with what had occurred.

"I don't love you Amunet..."

"You what?" My heart was thumping in my chest as I looked from the child in the field to the man beside me.

"I never loved you... I see how that... That it's time to go home for me... You can raise the child and she will carry on my name... My spirit." I smacked him before tears slid down my cheeks, I hit his chest, yet he didn't move.

"Rot in hell with Hades! You're just like everyone else in this world! Dirt! Fucking dirt!" He backed away, emotion missing from his face. I felt like I was bleeding inside. "Say good bye to her... I do not want to see you... Ever again. Do not come near me!"

"Amunet..."

"No... Erika now... I will erase you from my skin... My home... You mean nothing to me if I mean nothing to you." I turned away and walked inside as he said good bye to the blonde haired child, who was too memorized by light bugs to care. I raked my hair back before throwing pottery against the wall. This house was no home. It was hell.

"Mommy?"

"Amunta we are going! Pack your things!"

"Are we going with daddy?"

"No..." I turned away and sat down as she packed. I brought nothing. Instead I took with me a new name. A few look. A new empty feeling. I carried Clark for the sake of memories.
