A/N - I am currently in the year 2024 for this story
Caleb's POV
*Tuesday November 5th*
Working with my younger half sister hasn't been all that bad. It's only been just over 3 months but Kayla and I have bonded. She is only 2 years younger then me and has similar interests.
"Can you grab lunch with me today because I want to talk about Abby's birthday?" Kayla asked
"Um I'm meeting Hanna for lunch so today isn't the day for you and I to have lunch together." I said
"Sorry right I forgot it's your dating anniversary." Kayla said
"Yep 11 years but how did you know?" I asked
"I saw it on your calendar, Hanna must have wrote it." Kayla said
"Do you want to just do a Sunday brunch for Abby's birthday? I don't really think Hanna wants to make it a big thing so I don't know what you expect me to do?" I asked
"Sounds good so not this Sunday but the one after that." Kayla said
"As long as Hanna and I have nothing else planned then yes." I said
"So why are dating anniversary's so important?" Kayla said
"Hanna always makes a big deal every year because she thinks if we don't celebrate then it means I forgot." I said
On my lunch break I met up with Hanna.
"Are you working late tonight?" Hanna asked
"No and actually I'm going to try leaving an hour early just for you." I said
"You really don't have to do that Caleb if you have work that needs to be done." Hanna said
"I feel like I owe it to you Hanna to make up for all those nights I worked late in the past month." I said
"I would love that Caleb but if you are just going to bring work home with you then is leaving an hour early really worth it?" Hanna asked
"Yes it's worth it because no matter what you and the kids are more important then work." I said
I stayed true to my word and left work at 3 pm instead of sometime between 4 pm and 6 pm. I found out Hanna's mom was watching the kids for the night so it's just Hanna and I until tomorrow.
Toby's POV
*Wednesday November 6th*
Spencer and I are getting ready to move back to Rosewood but we do still have almost 2 months left in Chicago.
"Have you figured out what you are going to do for a job once we get back to Rosewood?" Spencer asked
"Work with my dad while fighting Tanner to let me back on Rosewood PD." I said
"Does she even know you are moving back?" Spencer asked
