Ashley

I struggled against the man. His arm gripped me tightly as we ran. He ran fast for someone that was so old, "Let. Me. Go!"

"Not until my mission is complete," He said, but suddenly he changed. His hair wasn't gray but slowly flickered to black. His skin changed from white to brown and when turned to face me he met me with brown eyes. I panicked and just froze. He slowed to a walk, careful of not letting me fall face first.

I looked him up and down, "You... changed."

"Do you like it?" He posed the angle of sunlight hitting him just right. I blinked at him not knowing how I should respond. "Just kidding I am not interested in anyone." He grabbed my arm again and started to drag me.

"Will you please let me go?" I asked staring at my captive.

He laughed in response, "Do I look like a idiot to you?"

"Please. Why are you doing this? I just want to go back to my brother and Noah." I tugged on my arm but it didn't work. Fine then. "Noah!" I screamed, the birds nearby flew off giving away our location. "Jaco-bsadkje." The boy placed a hand over my mouth and I swiped it off.

"Shush! Noah isn't going to help you and I'm saving you from those people. You need to hush or they will kill us."

What? I raised an eyebrow, "Uh. First off you kidnapped me and you expect me to believe that you are my savior? Second Noah and my brother will find me it's just a matter of time."

His brown eyes met mine and he sighed, "I know it's weird but I will explain everything when we get there. My name is Chris if that makes you feel any better." He brushed aside some branches and pulled me into a hole. "Okay this is going to sound really weird but you have to hug me."

I stepped back looking at him suspiciously, "I am not hugging you." I reached up to grab hold of the ledge but it got higher and higher. Almost as if I was shrinking. "What are you doing to me?!"

"I'm not doing anything. It's just how this hole works. You have to hug me quick or we will be stuck like this forever." I stared at him and he sighed. "Or you may never see your friends again." I debated my choices but slowly went in for a hug. I closed my eyes as Chris wrapped a hand around my back.

He felt tense just as I did which made me feel better. He let go and pulled me through the small hole in the wall.  "As much as I don't want that hug we have to hug again. It's the only way to be normal size again," He faced me. We slowly went in for a hug and I started to grow normal size again. Chris touched my ear and I looked at him weirdly. "Sorry I'm not very good at hugs."

"Okay..." I stepped away from him looking at the cave.

Chris clapped his hands together and gestured with his hand to the door, "I'd like you to meet my friends, Ashley." He waited for a response like something was suppose to happen. I just stood there awkwardly waiting. He coughed, "Uh you can come out now!" Two males walked out and waved at me.

Chris walked to them patted them on the back. "This is Zack." He pointed to a short curly haired dude. "And this is Davin." A tall muscular dude.

They hardly seemed important so I just smiled awkwardly, "This is really weird so I think I'd take two more hugs then leave. Noah should be just around the corner."

Chis laughed but then his face turned serious, "Grab her." They pounced covering my mouth and dragged me forward. I struggled against them but I was weak compared to them. My feet dragged against the floor and I hung my head low. What have I gotten myself into?
