Ashley

I sat in the dark trembling, I fought ever cell in my body to myself. The thought of seeing my friends helping me gave me the strength but then she would take hold of me again. She twisted words they said, showing me imagines of killing them and the words she said in my head when I'd look at them made it hard.

Your friends are afraid of you. They are cowards, not worthy to be on this Earth.

"Stop!" I gripped my head and closed my eyes. They came back to help me! They knew the risks.

Where are they now? If they really were here to break you out wouldn't they have been here by now?

Maybe they did leave? No. They probably have them locked up. I felt a small tear stream down my face when I saw Noah unconscious on the floor. The feeling of her taking control when she saw Noah. How I couldn't stop her from taking control.

There. There. He was a betrayal to the system. It's better to come willing then being dead all together.

I'd rather die then watch you kill my friends.

My door creaked open and I quickly looked at the door. I stood from my bed and lit my hand on fire. I slowly walked to the door, peering through the darkness. "Hello?" The bed creaked and I spun around throwing a flame at the bed. The pillow caught on fire as the person shot up. The flame revealed Noah staring at the pillow and then back at me. "I thought I killed you?" She said taking control once more. I brought up my hand covering my mouth before she could say anything else.

"Ashley, I'm sorry but I have to do this," he whispered and stalked towards me. His eyes stood trained on mine. My eyes went instantly on the burning pillow. My body moved on its own and grabbed the pillow. She threw it at him, hitting him in the chest.

No! I lifted my hand, drenching him and the pillow in water. "Noah I- It's time to give someone else a turn."

"Not until you all are all dead," he growled and charge into me. We crashed into a wall knocking over a picture frame. It unto the rug with a small crack. Pinning my hands, he went in for a kiss.

She went for a kick but it didn't affect Noah at all. Smash lips, I closed my eyes as all the thoughts screamed throughout my head until they disappeared. I felt strange as I felt myself gain control and my legs wobbled before falling onto my bed. The world seemed to spin and Noah sat beside me.

The room was dark but I could just barely make him out. "What are you thinking?" he asked.

A lot of things actually especially what just happened right now but I didn't want to think about that right now. "That I can do whatever I want... like this," I finally said, before slowly sitting up and gave him a small peck on the lips, grinning.

He held my hand and squeezed it. "I don't want to lose you ever again."

"We have to leave," I urged him, breaking the moment.

He sighed standing up, "I know. I'll go get the others. Just stay here and lock the door or something."

"Really? After everything you want to leave me alone?"

Noah nodded, "It's safer here since they don't know you've change. Just play along if they do come back. Okay?"

He stroked my cheek and I nodded. "Okay... but be fast."
