LEXI DIDN'T KNOW WHY she always hung out with Lydia and Jackson. She gathered it was because Lydia mostly forced her to tag along with the two of them, but really, it was because she genuinely did think they were good company to hang out with.
Watching the two bicker, was something Lexi could watch all day, and not get bored in the slightest way. She didn't know why the two of them were even together, with the amount that they argue, they barely got on - Lexi thought that it was because Lydia wanted popularity, but she had no clue. Just like she had no clue about half of the things that Lydia got up to.

She wanted to tag along purely so she could pick up a DVD, the first Star Wars, to be specific, so she could rewatch it, and next time her and Stiles were to watch a film round his house, she would know a little bit more about the film series. She didn't want to look like an idiot in front of the boy, she wanted to impress him with her knowledge on the films.
"Now, Hoosier's is not only the best basketball movie ever, it is the best sports movie ever made." Jackson tried to convince Lydia, as she pulled up to the movie store.

Ever since Lexi had gotten into the car, the two had been arguing non-stop about what movie they're going to watch, just as Lexi sat in silence in the back seats, watching them.
"No." Lydia replied, not even looking towards Jackson. Lydia always got her way, and that was a known fact.

"It's got Gene Hackman and Dennis Hopper." Jackson carried on, not wanting to watch The Notebook for the fifth night in a row. Luckily, Lexi had only seen that movie once, purely because she wasn't a fan of movies in general.

"No." Lydia spoke again, as Lexi undid her seatbelt and began to get out of the car.

"Lex.." Jackson began to ask his girlfriends twin, only for Lexi to instantly shake her head at him.

"No, Jackson. Don't involve me." She interrupted him - before shutting the door and making her way towards the store. It had gotten to that point in the night where she was completely fed up with their bickering. It was entertaining at first, but it had gotten to a point where it was just annoying.
Although, she didn't blame Jackson for his annoyance, Lexi wouldn't want to watch The Notebook for more than one time either.
As she reached the door to the store, she heard Jackson huff from besides her, causing her to smirk slightly, "I take it you're watching The Notebook again?" She asked.

Jackson replied with an annoyed groan, walking past Lexi, making sure to hold the door open for her in the meantime. She followed after him into the store, before going their separate ways in order for Lexi to find Star Wars.
She honestly didn't know the first thing about how to find them, so she headed straight to the Sci-Fi section, in hopes to find one - she barely even knew which movie to buy, she should have asked Stiles for help.

"Can somebody help me find The Notebook?" She heard Jackson call out, as she flipped through countless movies on the shelf, that she had absolutely no clue about.
Lexi, again, couldn't help but snicker at the sound of his voice, like he had completely given up at this point in time - she didn't blame him, after watching the film five nights in a row, she would be fed up, too.
"Hello?" He asked, when no one answered to him.

Lexi, along with Jackson, looked around at the surroundings in the store, also wondering where the worker was - it seemed that the whole store was empty, and even some of the lights were flickering.
"What are we, in a horror movie?" Lexi asked, as she walked up to Jackson - she also needed the workers help to find the first Star Wars movie, so she could rent it and finally go home. "Where're the workers?" She asked Jackson, not understanding where any of them could have gone off to.
As she heard a telephone ringing in the background, she couldn't help but grip onto Jackson's arm in fear, "Okay, this is kinda creepy." She told him quietly, earning a nod from the guy.

When they both started to walk forwards, Jackson clearly first, Lexi had stopped, stopping Jackson in front of her, when she saw two feet poking out from an isle.
As Jackson began to walk forwards, Lexi gulped and attempted to pull him back, only for him to walk forwards without her. Quickly jogging up to him, she caught up, just in time to see a dead body.
A whimper escaped her lips when she saw that his throat had been clawed open, and she couldn't believe the sight in front of her, it was something you would only see in the movies.

As she looked to the side, she saw Jackson stumble backwards, knocking the ladder over and bringing the light above them down, nearly knocking Lexi out.
If she hadn't have jumped out of the way, she would have been crushed. Now, the two could barely see anything due to the flashing lights in the store and the complete darkness that came along with it.
Lexi was surprised Lydia hadn't come in yet, to see what was going on, but she gathered that she was probably taking selfies in the car, minding her own business. She was glad that Lydia hadn't seen what was here, as she would have defiantly been scarred for life.

"Lex." She heard Jackson whisper, and when she looked to the side, she finally saw what he was looking at.
The shadow of a huge animal, was crouched at the back of the store, glaring at the two teenagers, glowing red eyes tearing into their souls.
Jackson reached out for Lexi and pulled her down with him, to hide behind a shelf, hoping that the animal wouldn't come and rip them apart like it had done with the worker.

All you could hear throughout the store was the loud growling of the animal, and the two teenagers breathing, hiding behind a shelf in hopes that they were hidden from the huge animal.
When Jackson peered around the corner to get a look if the animal was still there, Lexi hissed at him, and pulled him back, worried that he would be seen. Just at that moment, the animal came sprinting past, alerting the two teens, causing them to flinch back in fright.

Lexi tried to cover her head as multiple DVD's came flying down onto her head, all landing on her, and as soon as the shelves started coming down one by one, she pounced in the opposite direction to Jackson, and instead of her legs being crushed like him, her whole body had become trapped under the heavy weight of a shelf.
Without being able to move, all she could hear was the animal moving towards Jackson, and the rest was history..
