Maya's POV

I was lost in him when car halted with a jerk. He looked at me, I quickly lowered my eyes gripping the skirt in fist. His eyes were boring inside me like he fears that if he took his eyes off me then I would run. I was nervous and praying Allah to stop this shameless man from staring at me.

You were also staring at him a minute ago. Shameless!!

I gulped harder realizing that I was also staring at him. Suddenly the door of car opened and hand was placed in front of me. I looked up only to look at him smirking and his hands in front of me. When did he come here? Oh Allah! I truly embarrassed myself.

"Jaan, are you coming out by yourself or I have to carry you in my arms? Though I don't mind." He said with a grin and winked at me. I quickly placed my soft hands in his rough ones and hoped out of car while holding my dress. I was sure that I had a light pink shade dancing on my cheeks. He interlaced our fingers and I hold his left arm with my right hand.
We walked to door with the help of bodyguards as there was a lot of media. There were again alot of questions of our wedding and Rohaan's formula of success. He ignored it and I clutched his arm a little tight and whole time my eyes were glued to red carpet which led to an amazing hotel.

As soon as door of hotel was opened, my eyes saw a beautiful sight folding in front of us. A big chandelier shining to light up the darkness of the hearts. A beautiful design on the floor which were listening and bearing every tap of heel or shoes. Children running here and there. Men were busying themselves in business talk and women in new gossips around the rich world. Women magnificent dresses were moving as they talked or laughed. I was awestruck by the beauty of the so called rich party. My jaws were literally touching the ground.

Suddenly Rohaan gently pushed me to people with a smile on his face. He knew I had seen this type of party for the first time. Sure we were rich but baba and mama never took us to these extravagant type of parties. They always told us to not to spend money without any need. 'Your needs are much more important than your wants' ,he would always say us this.

We met some people or should I say half of the people in party. It's like everyone knew Rohaan and sometime it happend that people came and greeted us but Rohaan didn't know who were they. We then met the host of the party and his wife made me go with her to make me meet some more women in the party. Everyone treated me like I was some type of queen or what. They would say 'you are wife of Rohaan? Oh you are beautiful. You are one lucky girl.' Then they would talk to me with so much respect. Sometime I could see the jealousy rolling in some eyes and at other times they would plaster it with fake smile. Some people were actually happy that Rohaan got married and settled down while other were blinded by jealousy and the jealous one were the women around my age. Did the want to marry him? This thought only wandered in my mind and somehow made me uneasy and angry at same time. I sighed.

In the group of women, to be honest I was like alone. My eyes wandered and stopped at the most handsome hunk. My rohaan. He was standing tall with broad shoulders and a light subtle complimenting his milky white complex. He had dominating aura around him. A light smile and professionalism manner was speaking of his strength in this business world. People were surrounding him just to talk a little bit with him.

My Rohaan...

Shut up and leave me alone!!

Wow! Now I was talking to my subconscious due to this handsome man. I am truly finished. I excused myself to get some drink. The woman next to me insisted that I could take it from waiter but to be honest I just wanted to get away. I humbly denied her and went to take a juice from table. I took a juice and looked around at this magnificent party.
