48 | HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KAT!

Matt and Harry were currently at home with their three small children when Matt's phone began to ring and he reached over checking the ID to see Ethan it was Don calling and pressed the answer button putting the call on speaker,

"Matt?" The pair heard the English actor ask among little Levi tilt his head upon hearing the familiar voice

"Unk DomDom" he squealed making the couple and Dom chuckle at his excitement

"Hi bud" Dom answered making the soon to be one year old beam

"Hi!" He squealed as Matt pressed the camera icon so that they could FaceTime and the tot climbed onto his lap his eyes growing wide upon seeing his uncle's face on the screen

"Hey, what's up?" Matt asked

"Not much, and you two? Is Harry with you?"

"Yeah, why?" Matt asked but before he could reply Levi took his phone and dashed out of the living room giggling as Dim laughed and the pair could only chuckle as they heard Levi babble on and on about God only knows what small boys his age talked about with Dom gasping and asking questions at the right places before asking him to bring the phone back to Matt which the small boy did waddling back

"I'm going to go change his diaper while you talk to Dom," Harry said as he picked Levi up and blowing raspberry's on his belly causing him to squeal and Matt smiled after them before turning back to the call

"So what was it that you needed?" He asked

"Not much just wanted to see if you guys were busy this weekend?" Dominic answered and Matt shook his head looking over at the twins who were currently sleeping in their portable crib that was in the corner of the room

"No, why?" Matt asked

"Well it's Kat's birthday and I'm throwing her a party and wanted to see if you guys wanted to come by? And bring the kids too I'm sure Kat would love to see them" the blond replied and Matt nodded

"I don't see why not, I'll let Harry know about the party. Have you even thought about what kind of party to throw her? I mean she's turning what? 23 right?" He asked and Dom nodded with a frown, "she'd not a very picky person so I'm sure whatever you have a in mind will be enough"

"True, anyway have you got any plans for the holidays?" He asked and Matt told him that Harry along with the kids and him were going on vacation and would be ringing the new year out of the country like they had done the year before and after much talk the pair hung up just as Harry came back with a freshly bathed Levi and two sleeping infants.

"So what did that English man want?" Harry asked as he sat down beside Harry while Levi went to play with his toys being careful to not make too much noise so as to not wake his sisters up

"To invite us over to his and Kat's place for her 23rd birthday" Matt replied and Harry nodded

"Tired?" Matt asked and he hummed? "Why don't you go take a nap? I'll watch the kids until you wake up"

"The twins will be-"but before he could finish his sentence the twins began to whimper in the crib, "waking up" Matt smiled and they both made their way over to the crib and picked both girls up before walking towards the kitchen where Harry began to make them their bottles as he and Matt bounced the twins in their arms

"Papa, hungwy" Levi whined as he followed his parents into the kitchen

"I know bud, I'm already making your bottle" Harry replied as he finished making all three bottles with Alya and Eden snuggling and whimpering in his and Matt's arms, "here you bud" he handed Levi's bottle to him before handing Alya's bottle to Matt and both men and Levi made their way back to the living room and began to feed the twins as Levi settled beside Harry with his head on his lap and bottle in his mouth.

"Did you pack everything?" Matt asked as he strapped Levi in his car seat after placing Eden in the center and making sure her carrier was secure in its base as Harry did the same with Alya.

"Yes, babe. I triple checked to make sure we had everything we needed for the kids and also made sure I grabbed Kat's gift from the living room" Harry assured Matt for what felt like the hundredth time that day and Matt nodded before closing the door after Levi was in his car seat and getting into the passenger's seat while Harry climbed into the driver's seat and turned the car on before pulling out of the driveway.

The car ride was done in confortable silence as the pair held hands as always and Levi and the twins in the back sleeping. The radio was playing Ruelle's I Get To Love You softly in the background making both men smile as it was not just their onscreen wedding song but also their song as Harry had dedicated it to Matt when they first heard it on set a few years ago before they became a couple.

"Alright and we are here" Harry said as he pulled up to Dominic and Kat's two story home and were surprised to see a few cars already parked along the curve and in the driveway.

"I see a spot over there" Matt said as he pointed to an opening and Harry drove over and parked the car before turning the engine off and both stepped out of the car with Matt going to the trunk to get the strollers before taking Levi out and putting him in his stroller and pushing him over towards Harry to help him place the twins in their stroller.

"Ready?" He asked and Matt nodded as he tossed one of the diaper bags over his shoulder with Harry doing the same, "Then let get going. I know Don wants everyone over before Kat and Eme get here since I don't see Eme's car anywhere meaning that she's either taken Kat somewhere while Dom prepared everything for the party"

The pair pushed the strollers up the driveway and knocked on the door before being led inside and Dom took them to his and Kat's room so they could put the kids down on the bed and things down before joining the rest of the party guest in the living room.

"You really out did yourself," Harry stated as he and Matt joined the others in the living and looked over the decorations and saw all of Kat's favorite things from food to the decor.

"It's what she deserves" Dom replied just as he got a text and he got everyone to quiet down, "Okay everyone Emeraude just messaged saying they were five minutes away so please get ready"

"Dom better not be having a gua night when I told hi-" Kat was saying before cutting off as everyone Inter room yelled

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KAT!" At the top of their lungs as she opened the door and she jumped placing a hand on her chest as her eyes widened taking every familiar face in the room,

"What in the...how in the...you did all of this for me?" Kat stuttered not what to say as Dominic walked over to her and pulled her into a hug

"Of course I did, you deserve this and more" Dominic whispered kissing the top of her head.

And after everyone had wished her a happy birthday, Levi and the twins had woken up and were fed before Dominic brought out the cake and everyone sang to Kat the happy birthday song.

"Happy birthday Kit Kat" Matt said as he hugged her as they made their way out a few hours later. They along worth the rest of the shadowhunter's cast had stayed back for a bit and were now heading home as it was bedtime for the kids

"Thank you for coming over and bringing the kids with you" Kat said with a smile looking over his shocker as Harry placed the strollers in the trunk after placing all three kids in their respective places in the car, "it meant a lot"

"Don't mention it. You know you and Dom are always welcomed over so don't be a stranger okay?"

"Okay, go on now, before Harry leaves without you" she teased the taller of the two and be rolled his eyes before going her one last kiss and hug before rushing over to the car and climbing in.

"Ready to go home?" Harry asked and he hummed

"Yup"

And so that's what they did.
