Anya's POV

"how can you do this?"

"You tried to snatch my happiness from me."

Ahh...
These nightmares won't let me sleep peacefully.

Today is the event. I don't want to go. Idea! I'll just go.. Show my face and will leave the place.

What am I gonna wear today. Western or Indian... Donno. Let's see.

I saw the time it's 7:00. Time passed quickly while I was busy thinking about the event.

I showered and changed into something comfortable. Am not in a mood to wear all formal.

I reached kitchen to see Maria setting the table.

After having my breakfast I left for the hospital.

"Good morning "

"Morning Mia " I said while entering my cabin.

"Coffee? "

"Thanks"

"Morning ma'am "

"Morning doctors"

"All set for today" I asked Mia and the interns.

"Yes" they replied excitedly.

"You guys are very excited for today" I said

"Yes.. It's gonna be fun." Emily said while others nodded.

"It's gonna be boring" I complained.

Aiden said "There's food so there's fun" making us all laugh.

"Go check the patients. You have to leave early today to reach the event." I ordered them.

They nodded and left the cabin.

"Get me the reports of all the finances and the equipments being used of all 10 branches. " I asked Mia

"On it" she left to get the files.

After completing the work we all left for our house to get ready. Mia came along with me to get ready together.

"What have you decided to wear for today" Mia asked excitedly

I looked amused at her excitement " dunno.... Am confused... Maybe will go with something Indian "

"Great... You should actually. You always look amazing in Indian wear"

I laughed "what have you decided for yourself? "

"I'm gonna wear blue gown"she exclaimed.

"ohh great"

We reached my apartment. I got two glass of water for me and Mia.

"Do you wanna have something?" I asked Mia

She looked at me bewildered " you are talking about having food. Miss come fast we don't have time. We need to get ready."

I laughed and followed her to my room.

"I'll go and take the shower. You can use the guest room." I said and we both went to have shower.

I came out wearing bath robe to find Mia already there and doing her make up.

"Girl calm your horses. We have lot of time to get ready. "

She rolled her eyes at me "come and sit here. I'll do your makeup and than mine."

"Please keep it natural." I said

"Sure. Now let me do my work." saying this she started painting my face.

After what felt like hours, she was done with my make up.

I went and changed into dark red coloured saree with black blouse.

I came out dressed to see Mia is already ready in her blue gown.

She curled her hairs and completed her look with red lipstick.

"You are looking beautiful." I complimented her.

"Thank you" she turned around to see me.

"fuck" she said with her eyes wide and mouth hanging.

"What"

"My... My... You are looking dead drop gorgeous. "

I rolled my eyes at her.

"Seriously... Don't know how many Man out there are gonna have heart attack."

"Stop exaggerating Mia and thank you for the compliment"

I completed my look by leaving my hairs open as they are naturally straight with light curls at end and with black earrings and black heels.

"Shall we leave" I asked Mia while taking my clutch.

"Yes"

We went outside to see my driver, Max already waiting for us.

"You both are looking gorgeous." he said.

"Thank you Max " we said.

We settled ourselves inside my Audi and headed to the event.
