Chapter - 56

Anya's POV

After lot of pursuing Abhi left me.

I myself didn't wanted to leave him but we need to reach down for breakfast too.

We both went showered and changed.... Of course in our separate rooms.

We moved downstairs holding each others hand.

As soon as everyone came in our view, Abhi said "Dad, make me marry Anya as soon as possible. I can't wait more. I already had to wait for two months. Now no more"

Everyone laughed at Abhi's eagerness and I blushed.

I can't stay away from him. I also want to marry him but he need to ask me properly.

"Who said I'm marrying you?" I said faking seriousness.

"What?" Abhi looked flabbergasted.

"I'll marry my father's choice " as soon as these words everyone stilled.

I turned to see papa looking shocked with tears brimming in his eyes.

It's now or never. "I'll marry the one whom my papa will decide"

"isn't it papa" I added.

Papa came and hugged me. He kissed my forehead.

"My Anya... My baby... My daughter "

I hugged him and cried letting my pain away.

"We are sorry beta for Not trusting you.. "

I interrupted him in middle "Papa, let's not discuss about it. Let's start fresh. Let bygones be bygones "

I hugged mumma.  She was crying "how much are you gonna cry mom? " I said to lighten the mood.

"Sid" I called him.

He cried hugging me. "from when did monkey started crying" I said making him laugh.

Finally I felt at peace ,letting myself free, forgiving everyone.

All were looking at us with smile.

I looked at Abhi to see him smiling. I mouthed thank you to him. In return he gave me flying kiss.

Dad hugged me and Aru "My brave daughters"

"Uncle I have short listed sone candidates for Anya " Aru said to Papa making Abhi shocked.

Ri rushed towards us with a file "Uncle I even got there background check"

We all were trying hard to stop laughing seeing Abhi's face.

"Yes show me. I'll decide the best groom for my daughter" Papa said.

"What the.... " Abhi shouted.

"Wow... What good for nothing friends I have?" he said.

"Mumma come you all see the pictures and decide one" I said taking pictures.

"Mom, dad please do something " Abhi pouted.

"Yes we should " Nandini aunty said.

"Come Nandini we'll also help Rakesh ji to select best candidate for anya" Raj uncle came towards me taking pictures.

"What?" Abhi looked shocked.

"I knew no one is gonna do anything. I'll have to do all the work" saying so Abhi went to his room.

Where did he went?  We all were wondering, when we saw him coming back.

He came towards papa "Uncle I love your daughter. I'll cherish her with love and care. I want to marry your daughter. Your princess will be queen of my heart. Will you trust me with your daughter? Will you give your daughters hand in mine? " Abhi said.

This is so unexpected. He seriously asked papa for my hand.

He's so eager.

Papa went towards Abhi and hugged him.

"I can never find anyone better than you beta" papa said.

It's true though.

"I don't have any problem with your proposal beta. I accept you for my daughter. But now it's up-to her whether she wants you as her life partner or not" Papa shrugged.

I smirked while Abhi looked determinedly at me.

"Aru are there any other candidates " I asked Aru.
