Chapter - 35

Anya's POV

Since the time I woke up, I'm continuously blushing recalling yesterday's event.

Today is bhai duj, I showered and change into light purple suit.

Today I put extra efforts in getting ready.

I left my hair open, wore ear rings, put eyeliner and lip balm.

I wore black heels and moved downstairs.

As I came in view everyone noticed me.

"You are looking beautiful beta" Nandini aunty said.

"Thank you aunty"

I looked to see Abhi who was looking impressed seeing me made me blushed hard.

He was looking hot in blue kurta and white pyjama.

"Hey Anya come here and why are you cheeks red. Are you fine?" Aru asked concerned.

I stammered "uh..hh.. I.. I don't know "

I glared at Abhi as he was smirking seeing my condition.

Everyone was busy making preparations for bhai duj and I helped them.

"Boys go and be seated" Raj uncle said.

All the boys sat on the sofa. Maya aunty came with puja ki Thali (plate).

Aru took the plate in her hand and went towards Samar.

She put sindoor on his forehead and fed him sweets.

"My gift" she said, putting her hand front.

"What gift? I don't have anything for you" Samar said.

"Dad see him he's not giving my gift" Aru said to Vivek uncle.

"Samar"

"Dad ki chamchi" Samar glared at her and placed the gift in her hand.

Than Ruhi took the plate and putted sindoor on Ri's forehead.

After feeding the sweet Ri gave her gift.

"I'm gonna get two gifts" Riya said while taking the plate towards Nishant and Abhi.

"Why should boys always give the gift? " Nishant whined making us laugh.

Riya did the same with Abhi and Nishant and took her gifts.

We all smiled seeing her excitement.

"Anya it's your turn" Swati aunty said while giving me the plate.

I looked to see everyone looking me with hope.

I looked at Abhi. He smiled encouragingly.

As always his eyes calmed me. I nodded my head at him and took the plate.

I went towards Aditya bhaiya, Sid, Akash and Rohan.

I had tears in my eyes on seeing there tear filled eyes.

I putted sindoor on their forehead and fed them sweets and left the plate on the table for Tanya.

They four put the gifts in front of me.

"Sorry but I can't accept these gifts. I joined you all in this function for everyone's sake" I declined there gifts politely.

I can't accept there gifts until and unless my heart accepts them.

After Tanya and Sakshi fed them sweets and took there gift.

We went to dining table for our breakfast.

Everyone was busy chatting while I silently ate my breakfast with my mind busy with hospital work.

"Ri, Dr. Mehra, cardiologist works in this branch, right?" I asked Ri.

But what I didn't understood was that why everyone looked surprised hearing my question.

"Do you know him? Have you seen him? " Ri answered.

Why is he asking this absurd question.

"No, neither I know him nor I have seen him. but I wish to meet him, I'm impressed with his work and I was thinking of making him the head of cardiology department. I discussed it with the heads at London. only your opinion was left" I answered his question.

Everyone looked proud, Mainly Abhi. As he noticed I'm looking at him, he winked and smirked at me.

I waited for Ri to answer. "He's an amazing doctor and best in his field. You will sure be surprised meeting him"

"I would love to meet him" I said.

"Why don't you yourself give him this news? " Ri smirked.
