Chapter - 33

Anya's POV

After lunch everyone was deciding for tomorrow, it's bhai duj.

Brothers were busy deciding gifts to give tomorrow to their sisters.

I can see the excitement on my family's face. I know Sid was hoping that I would celebrate it tomorrow with him.

But I don't know whether I want to do it or not.

What about last three years? Where were they all when I needed them?

Someone snapped his fingers in from of my face.

I looked up to see it was Abhi.

"What happened? " he asked.

"Nothing" I said with a fake smile and excused myself from there.

I entered the room still wondering in my thoughts.

I was so busy that I didn't realised it was time for dinner.

I sat on the table and served myself.

I was silently eating my dinner.

"Anya"

"Anya"

"Umm.. Yes " I said.

"Where were you lost? " Aru asked.

"Nothing important, was just preoccupied with something "I said.

I didn't looked up to see everyones face.

I knew they might be confused. Someone sitting in front of me was looking intently at me.

"Anya what have you decided for bhai duj" Anita bua said making everyone still while I continued my dinner ignoring her.

Can't she get the message loud and clear, that I'm not in a mood to talk to any of them.

I know how she is, she's deliberately trying to talk.

"Beta" Vivek uncle called me.

"Yes uncle"

"Will you be at home yesterday?" Vijay uncle asked.

I paused for a moment deciding on what to say with everyones eyes on me.

"I don't know uncle, I'm not sure about anything right now. Most probably I won't be there." I said slowly.

"Why are you running away Anya? You should be there tomorrow. " again Anita bua spoke.

"Just shut up Anita" Papa said to her.

I ignored them completely.

"Di please stay tomorrow " Riya said.

"Yes di, we missed you a lot" Samar said.

"Please stay for us" Nishant said.

"Please Di" Ruhi said.

What to do? I don't want to be here.

And I can't upset them more. I know my absence is effecting them, and I don't want it.

After 2 minutes silence, "OK I'll stay" I said making them smile and excused myself from there.

This is what I want to see happiness on there faces and I'm happy about it.

But what about my happiness. Who'll think about it.

I took my laptop and started doing some of my work to divert my mind from all this.

There's lot of pending work to do. After I completed my half work, I was hell tired.

I saw the time to see it was midnight.

I got up from my chair and stretched my muscles.

I wasn't feeling sleepy, so I went in the garden.

I was sitting there and seeing the beauty of flowers in moon light.

That is when my view got blocked by a coffee mug.

I looked from mug to see the owner who's holding it, only to find Abhi standing with a smile.

"Coffee"

"Thank you " I took the mug from his hand and he sat beside me.

We finished are coffee in the silence. But the silence was bothering me, so I broke the silence first.
