(I think this was my favorite chapter to write. I definitely had the most fun with this one lol)

I was anxiously waiting to hear back from her. It's been 10 minutes and I'm pretty sure I had checked my phone at least a hundred times. I can't believe I'm acting like a lovesick teenager who texted her crush for the first time. I pinched myself to calm down.

I opened my phone and gasped as I saw the thought bubble forming. And then sighed when it disappeared. And then gasped when it appeared again. And then sigh- wait! That girl is probably doing that on purpose. She knows I'm anxiously waiting to hear back, so she's playing with my emotions. My suspicions were confirmed when I glanced down at the single worded text.
