I walk into Elena's house and see her sitting on the couch tears running down her cheeks as she's frantically typing on her phone.
"What's the matter, mio cara?" I slide my shoes off and go to her.
"Nothing." She shakes her head.
I sit next to her and scoop her into my lap as she's still messaging.
"What's wrong?" I whisper softly placing a kiss to her forehead.
"Me and Enzo are just having a fight." She tilts her head up to me looking at me through tears.
"Do you want to talk about it?"
She leans up and places a quick kiss to my lips before explaining.
"He said i was immature because i got a D in four subjects and that i should try harder and it will be worse for me to get a future. I didn't even mean to get D's."
"I think he has a point about it will affect your future if you do want to go to college but it's rude of him to say it like that."
"Exactly."
"Go have a shower and refresh yourself." I kiss her softly.
"Okay." She sniffles wondering upstairs.
I instantly pull my phone out and call Enzo. He answers quickly.
"Hey." His voice rings in my ear.
"What the hell is wrong with you?"
"Excuse you?"
"Why would you say that to Elena? Seriously?"
"I didn't mean to be a dick." His voice softens.
"Yeah well you were and you upset her."
"Since when do you care?"
"Since she's upset."
"Can you put her on the phone?"
I sigh and wonder upstairs into the bathroom and hand the phone to Elena as she's in the shower.
"Hi." Elena says softly.
"Are you in the shower?" Enzo asks.
"Um yeah."
"Did Charlie see you naked!?"
"What no, no." Elena quickly says even though i'm standing right here watching her.
"Oh okay."
There's an awkward silence before Enzo speaks again.
"Look i'm sorry about what i said. I'm here if you need help with school and Charlie would help. I'm not mad at you for failing i was just shocked. I love you and i'm sorry."
"It's okay."
"Do you forgive me?"
"Of course."
Enzo let's out a breath, "Thank you."
"I'm going to finish my shower but i'll talk to you later."
"Alright, bye sis, love you."
"Love you too."
She hangs up and hands me my phone back and i put it on the bench.
"Better?"
She nods, "Thank you."
I lean into the shower and peck her lips and go to leave.
"Where are you going?" She asks.
"Leaving so you can shower?"
"Stay."
I waste no time stripping off all my clothes and joining her in the shower.
I wrap my arms around her neck and pull her into my chest.
"You okay?" I softly brush my thumbs over her tear stained cheeks.
"Mhm." She nods. I give her a soft kiss and ignore the way her smile makes my heart skip and my knees buckle.
I think i'm in love with her but i'm too much of a pussy to say it. What if she thinks it's too soon?
But i've known her my whole life. I'm torn on what to do.
